We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cyrena Ybarra a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Cyrena thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea to become a florist after spending about a year searching for something I truly felt passionate about. I knew I wanted to invest my time and energy into something meaningful, but I didn’t want to rush into just any idea. I kept telling myself that the right opportunity would come to me if I stayed patient. One day I came across a florist on TikTok who was making a bouquet during a live video. I remember watching and thinking to myself, “What if I could do that?” In that moment something just clicked for me. It felt like the spark I had been waiting for. I immediately started researching floral design, learning everything I could, and before I knew it I was creating bouquets of my own. What started as a moment of curiosity quickly turned into a passion and eventually the business I’m proud to build today.

Cyrena, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Cyrena Lynn, and I am the owner of Lynn Bouquets. I work full time while also attending college part time, and I’m set to graduate with my Associate’s degree in Business Administration in Spring 2027. Through Lynn Bouquets, I provide high quality rose arrangements designed for special celebrations and meaningful life moments. I also offer one on one bouquet classes for anyone interested in learning floral design, as well as fun floral workshops for events such as bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and similar gatherings. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and the genuine love I have for my business. I always strive to go above and beyond for every client, even if it means adding a few extra touches at no charge. I take a lot of pride in the work I do. What I’m most proud of is the brand I’ve built completely from the ground up. I want all of my future clients to know that I will always do my best to provide the highest quality products and create something truly special for every order.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Networking has been a huge part of my success. I believe there is room for everyone to grow and be great within this industry.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media is my best source of new clients. 100% of my new clients have come from someone seeing an ad or video!
