Cinthya , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.

There’s been two defining moments in my professional career so far. The first was during my time in aesthetic school. I realized that this profession could be so much more than just facials. I quickly noticed the potential to create an intentional space for people to relax and receive results-driven treatments.

I vividly remember several of my classmates getting emotional and then falling into a deep, restorative sleep as I provided their treatment.

At the end of their service they just glowed differently. That’s when I truly understood the power of intention in my work.

The second defining moment was during my extensive skin and scar training with DMK.

This experience made me realize that we could transform skin and scars by understanding the source of the skin dysfunction. I learned that the body truly knows how to heal itself when provided with the appropriate formulations and high grade botanical ingredients.

Witnessing the remarkable transformations and the healing journey of my clients has reinforced my passion and commitment to this incredible field.

Hello! Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. I’m Cinthya, Licensed Aesthetician, DMK Skin Revision Therapist & owner of Lotus Flower Esthetics, located in Gilbert, AZ.

My journey into the world of skincare took a unique turn from my previous career as a court clerk.

In 2020, right before the shutdown, I asked myself, “If I could do anything, what would it be?” I’ve always been fascinated by skincare, even though I never had a proper regimen, or knew how to take care of my own skin. I spent so much money on products not getting the results I was seeking.
This curiosity led me to aesthetic school, and from that point on, my passion & knowledge for skincare quickly grew.

My treatments are all about serving others and instilling joy and confidence through skin and scar revision. I help clients with various skin conditions from age management, rosacea, acne, to scars & pigmentation caused by accidents or elective surgeries.
These issues can greatly impact self-esteem and someone’s social life, and I’m here to help my clients overcome them.

I’ve taken an extensive amount of training and education in skin and scar revision, but it’s about applying that knowledge on a case-by-case basis in the treatment room.

What is different about my services is that I can revise skin while protecting the integrity of the skin without the use of lasers or harsh chemicals.

I’m grateful to provide results-driven treatments while helping my clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

Absolutely. I had a client who had been suffering from a skin condition for several years. He had tried everything, from dermatologists to various creams, facials, and products, but nothing had worked.

Understandably, he was fustrated with his journey & was very skeptical & hesitant to work with anyone.
I found myself intimidated and began to doubt myself, and what I could do for him.

A dear friend of mine said to me, “Your business can only grow to the level of problems you’re willing to handle and solve.” Inspired by this, I managed expectations and took him on as a client.

The results were remarkable!!
Seeing his transformation was incredibly rewarding. He was so happy with his revision. Looking back, this situation was a gift and has expanded my business and my confidence as a provider.

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?

Undoubtedly, YES!! I would choose this profession again. Now that doesn’t mean it’s easy. There are so many hurdles and growing moments when you decide to be an entrepreneur.

This career has opened my eyes to the significant need for skin and scar revision. Many people undergo elective surgeries without realizing that they may be left with pigmentation and scars, which can impact their self-esteem and how they feel about themselves. I’m so honored to able to help revise skin, scars, and making a positive difference in their lives. This fuels my purpose!
