Christopher, appreciate you joining us today. What’s something crazy on unexpected that’s happened to you or your business
Was when we came up with the idea to start a nonprofit. We always gave back out of our pockets. Well when I talked to my wife, I said we should put $5 in a account once a pay period to save up enough to bless a family
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m grateful to juggle many roles in my life, from being a husband and father to managing my work and passions. Alongside my wife, Kate Thurman, I co-founded Angelically Blessed Inc., a non-profit that’s focused on helping families through tough times. We provide shelter, clothing, food, and financial support to prevent homelessness and help families regain stability. Our approach is all about empowering families to overcome their struggles and rebuild their lives with dignity.
In addition to my work with Angelically Blessed, I’m Co-owner of CKT Logistics, Co-CEO at Faith Safe Haven Men’s Ministry, and a Co-host and Co-producer of the TV program Graceful Gathering with the Thurmans. My journey is centered around serving both my family and community, and I’m committed to making a real difference for those who need it most.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for me was prayer. Knowing that what we do is helping our community. We have word of mouth
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
There aren’t many books the significantly impacted my management. I am a firm believer of having faith and what Gods plan is for me
