We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christopher Busby a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Christopher, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear from you about what you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry and why it matters.

One thing I believe Corporate America gets wrong is that everything doesn’t have to be so expensive. I see it all around our country, and every major business. Companies make billions and still decide to charge their consumers an outrageous price. No matter how big Rapid Glass, or any of my companies get, I’ll be sure to put the consumer and their wallets first.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Growing up, I was very poverty stricken. To help myself get out of that, I joined the Army when I was 17 years old. At the time, I had no idea what I was doing or where that would lead. Eventually, I discovered that I could become a Helicopter Pilot, so I did. I became a Black Hawk Pilot and I’ve loved it ever since. However, I’ve always had a passion for technology. So in 2023, I decided to part ways with Active Duty Army and transition over to the Army Reserves, and start my company Rapid Glass Atx.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

When I first started my company, I hired a Social Media Manager. I figured everyone would want to see well polished videos of our installations, and nice expensive content. That was not the case. I wasted a lot of money on Social Media and the managers I had, that ultimately led to no growth. Eventually, I decided to do the Social Media myself and I created a video about myself and where I started. This video got nearly 1 million views on social media, and grew our social media to having nearly 10k followers alone.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

I treat my business like Chick-Fil-A. The customer is always right, and I ensure to let them know that with a smile on my face.
