We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chris (C.A.M) McFrazier. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chris (C.A.M) below.
Chris (C.A.M), appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
By far the most meaningful project that I have worked on is my album titled “The Experience”. It’s so meaningful to me because it shows me coming out of my shell and letting people see different sides of me that you wouldn’t normally see. The album is also meaningful because it’s a dream of mine to have my own music and to step out front to show people my contribution to music.

Chris (C.A.M), before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started in this industry by studying those that I’ve looked up to since being a child. I always have loved music and having a background in gospel helped shape me as a person and musician. From then I started journeying into different types of music as the ones that I’ve studied did. I’m most proud of being able to meet and connect with some of the most talented and gifted musicians on the planet ! I’m also most proud of being true to who I am, and being as genuine as possible setting myself apart.
What I want others to know about me is that I give my whole heart to this music! I try to be as pure as they come. I want my genuineness to be felt with everything that I do!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
The goal and mission that is driving my creative journey is working to ensure that the true essence of who I am and what I do, is felt with anything that I am connected to. It’s very important to me for people to feel authenticity.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I really wish I had a mentor to guide me and walk me through this industry of music. It can become really lonely in terms of direction but ultimately I had to rely on experiences. Advice is always great, but in my opinion there is nothing like being coached or led and guided through this creative journey.
