We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chad Jackman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chad below.
Chad, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with a fun one – what’s something you believe that most people in your industry (or in general) disagree with?
I believe in radical transparency in my work – sharing every detail of my process, methods, and ‘secrets’ openly. This goes against the common industry wisdom of protecting intellectual property and maintaining competitive advantages through secrecy.
When someone works with me, I explain exactly how I achieve results, down to the smallest details. They can take that knowledge and run with it independently, or continue working with me for guidance and support. Either way, I want them to fully understand the ‘how’ behind what I do.
I developed this philosophy after seeing how much time and energy gets wasted in our industry on reinventing wheels and guarding ‘trade secrets’ that really shouldn’t be secret at all. I realized that my real value isn’t in hoarding knowledge – it’s in my ability to execute effectively and guide others through the process. Being fully transparent actually builds deeper trust and stronger long-term relationships.
This approach has sometimes raised eyebrows among colleagues who worry about ‘giving away the farm.’ But I’ve found that the more openly I share, the more people want to work with me specifically, even though they know exactly how I do what I do. They appreciate the honesty and recognize that understanding a process doesn’t necessarily mean they want to manage it themselves.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Blue Fox Innovations emerged from a deep understanding of the challenges that small business owners face daily. Based in Texas, we’ve built our company around a simple yet powerful mission: helping entrepreneurs reclaim their lives through intelligent business automation.
Our journey began when we saw firsthand how small business owners were drowning in a sea of disconnected tools and manual processes. They were spending countless hours jumping between different platforms for their CRM, email marketing, website management, and payment processing. We knew there had to be a better way, and that’s what led us to develop our signature Reclaim Your Life dual funnel system.
What sets us apart is our comprehensive approach to business automation. Instead of offering just another tool to add to an already overwhelming tech stack, we’ve created an all-in-one solution that brings everything together in a single, intuitive dashboard. We’ve built our platform on top of HighLevel’s robust infrastructure, but we’ve taken it further by developing systematic processes that make automation accessible and effective for any small business owner.
Our suite of solutions includes everything a growing business needs: from sophisticated CRM capabilities and automated email marketing to website building and seamless payment processing. But what truly makes us different isn’t just the technology – it’s our relentless focus on giving business owners back their time. Every feature, every automation, every system we develop is designed with one goal in mind: helping entrepreneurs build more profitable businesses while working less.
I’m particularly proud of the transformations we’ve witnessed in our clients’ lives. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a business owner who was working 80-hour weeks suddenly have time to attend their kids’ soccer games or take their first vacation in years. These are the real metrics of success for us – not just the increased revenue our clients achieve (though that’s certainly important too), but the life changes that come with having systems that work for you instead of you working for them.
We primarily serve small business owners who’ve reached that crucial point where they know something needs to change. They’re typically successful but exhausted, knowing they need to systematize their operations but unsure where to start. Whether they’re in Rockwall or anywhere across the nation, we provide them with the tools, systems, and support they need to break free from the operational chaos that’s holding them back.
What really drives us is seeing the ripple effect of our work. When we help a business owner automate their operations and reclaim their time, we’re not just impacting their life – we’re helping their employees, their families, and their entire community. That’s the kind of transformation we’re committed to creating, one business at a time.

Have you ever had to pivot?
My defining pivot came at a moment when it would have been easy to give up entirely. I launched my business just three months before COVID shut everything down in 2020. At the time, I was focused solely on building marketing funnels for clients – a solid business model in normal times.
But as the pandemic forced businesses to rapidly digitize, the market became flooded with marketers offering funnel-building services. I quickly realized I needed to think bigger or risk becoming just another voice in an increasingly crowded space. That’s when I saw an opportunity that others were missing: businesses didn’t just need marketing funnels – they needed comprehensive systems to run their entire operations remotely and efficiently.
I pivoted into the Software with a Service (SWaS) space, expanding my offering to include building out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implementing advanced automation systems. This wasn’t just about surviving the pandemic – it was about helping other businesses thrive in the new digital reality. By focusing on complete business automation solutions rather than just marketing funnels, I positioned myself at the forefront of a new revolution in how small businesses operate.
This pivot turned what could have been a business-ending crisis into an opportunity to create something more valuable and impactful. Today, instead of just building funnels, I help businesses transform their entire operational framework, giving them the tools and systems they need to succeed in an increasingly automated world.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the common business mentality that ‘knowledge is power only when kept secret.’ Like many entrepreneurs, I initially thought that protecting my ‘secret sauce’ – my methods, systems, and processes – was crucial to maintaining my competitive edge. There’s this pervasive belief in the business world that if you share too much, you’ll lose your value or clients will just do everything themselves.
But through running Blue Fox Innovations, I’ve completely unlearned this mindset. I discovered that being radically transparent about my methods and systems actually strengthens my business relationships and increases my value to clients. I now share everything – every detail of how our automation systems work, every step of our processes, every aspect of our SOPs.
The surprising lesson was that when clients understand exactly how everything works, they’re more likely to trust us, not less. They appreciate knowing they’re not locked into some mysterious black box. They can choose to implement things themselves or have us handle it, and that freedom of choice actually makes them more committed to working with us.
This unlearning happened gradually as I built out our SWaS solutions. I noticed that the clients who understood our systems best were our biggest advocates. They didn’t leave because they knew our ‘secrets’ – they stayed because they valued our expertise in execution and appreciated our transparency. This complete mindset shift has become a cornerstone of how we operate at Blue Fox Innovations.
