We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cash Miller a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Cash thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Honestly, I think the first thing it takes to be successful is to see and believe the success within yourself!
Cash , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
At the age of 16 I undeniably got involved in the criminal lifestyle of drug dealing which was heavily known as way to make fast cash in my community. Although I knew all the consequences, it didn’t stop me from being heavily involved all I thought about was the money. Within the first year made so much money then I couldn’t see myself getting out the business because the fast money came so easy so I want it to be more successful at getting that money being one of the biggest drug dealers in the streets. The one thing about that lifestyle is that I never actually liked the feeling of selling drugs to people I just like the business aspect of it and making money. The more I grew up as time went on i felt more of the fact that It wasn’t who I was, or the person that I wanted to be knowing I needed & wanted to change. Is to have a no direction in what I wanted to be in life. So I chose to alleviate myself from any and all drug doing activities forever take whatever money I had left and try to invest it into making a successful business. So I decided to learn how to cut hair open up my own barbershop and work for myself as the head Barber. By the age 22 i completed my goal and opened my first building Head Artist’s unisex salon which has now been open almost 20 years straight and counting.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The lesson I had to unlearn was you had to be highly educated to be successful.. being educated is only half of it. The other half is having to drive to push yourself to be successful.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media, by being a part of a plethora of different things involved in social media today
