Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Carolyn Coleridge. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Carolyn, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

Taking a risk is when I became a professional intuitive healer and medium and also a license psychotherapist. There are more out there now, but in the past it was a bit issues because, of hearing and seeing spirit can be considered a mental health disorder. Though working in the field of mind – therapy, body – healer, and spirit – intuitive and been fulfilling for myself and so many other people that I have helped heal on a SOUL level. Working with the spiritual essence of a person, helps you put more gasoline into the ‘car’, so to speak. With out gasoline the car can’t go and without acknowledging their spirit the person can also go so forward in life. People come into heal themselves on a deep soul level and being open to that as a therapist can lead clients into healing deeper than expected and for a longer time. the client realizes that they have purpose and a reason to be here.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

My name is Carolyn Coleridge, LCSW, I am a psychotherapist, intuitive and healer. I have been doing this work for 28 years. I felt I was ‘called’ by spirit to practice this craft. I starting to see ghosts when I was studying at Columbia UNIV, NYC to be a social worker. I started to explore spirit and the universe and saw how it lead me in life. These SOULs or ghosts were coming to me to say that life does continue on after death. So many of the souls wanted help, or just to say hi, but they were real beings that had energy in them. When I worked with the Universe, it lead me to higher goals and accomplishments which was beyond my dreams. I was on CNN and a show on USA. I was able to speak on panels at a large New age expos in Los Angeles for about 10 years in a row. I I was able to help people to heal and saw my Linked in testimonials over the years rise to 101. What was exciting is this is a public site and people felt comfortable testifying their work with me. I want to help people to grow and heal but spirituality is self responsibility and once you know the rules, you can create magic. I also sell crystal prescriptions boxes. Helping people to align to mother earth energy. This helps remind them they are on earth and helps aids their spirits as we have crystalline energy in our energy field. I have two books, and one workbook out there. Honor your spirit, SOUL Wisdom and How to work with the Universe. I see visions of people’s lives and can help people to find their purpose.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?

Yes, I would choose the same profession. I feel like I was on the right path. My soul likes to help people and I felt social work and being a spiritual healer advisor was the right way to do that. I also like writing and also inspiring people. Years ago, I said that I wanted to inspire people, inspire comes from the root word, ‘in spirit” then I ended up working with spirit. I NEVER thought I would be a professional psychic healer when I was younger. I am very connected to my spirit so I am glad that I listened to my values and helped people to create better lives. I also liked that fact I helped people to learn how to self heal and create their own brand of spirituality.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?

For my field it to succeed is to be in integrity and have good ethics. There are social work ethics but there are also ethics for being an intuitive healer. there is also a lot of reading classes and research to align yourself with higher vibrations and energy. I also think about staying in the light of truth is important and also to walk your talk and listen to your own intuition.
