Capri , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My story really began in 2017, during a defining moment that changed everything for me.
While my brand, Cute and Christian®, was officially developed years later, the foundation of my story started long before that.
I struggled with deep insecurity—so much so that it made me question everything about how God created me. I developed limiting beliefs about my worth, my beauty, and my identity, and those beliefs became so overwhelming that they led me to one of the lowest points in my life, including a suicide attempt.
I had built my identity around external things—clothes, makeup, relationships, and material items—thinking they could make me feel whole. But no matter how much I tried to fix the outside, I still felt empty on the inside.
It wasn’t until one day, at my absolute breaking point, that everything changed. I was completely disconnected from who I was at my core, I sat in the middle of my bed, wept uncontrollably, and I cried out to God to save me. In that moment, I made a real decision to believe that He was real and that I wanted a relationship with Jesus.
It felt like a daughter crying out for her father—raw, honest, and completely surrendered.
And something shifted.
After I cried out, I experienced what I can only describe as a divine interruption, I had a vision—clear and undeniable, I saw myself standing in front of an auditorium filled with thousands of women, speaking and pouring into them. At the time, I didn’t fully understand it, but I held onto it.
But before anything became public, I had to walk this out privately.
That season looked like deep consecration and intentional healing. I spent time journaling daily, sitting with God, and allowing Him to rebuild me from the inside out. As I did, I began to experience vivid visions—often seeing myself as a little girl sitting beside a large white horse with wings. It became a recurring image in both my dreams and waking moments, something I couldn’t ignore and didn’t fully understand at the time, but it stayed with me.
I had to first develop a personal relationship with God and learn how to receive His love. And as I began to receive love, I began to learn how to truly love myself.
I had to practice what I now teach—extending grace, patience, and care toward myself—and unlearn the limiting beliefs I once carried. I had to rebuild my identity from the inside out and begin to see myself the way God sees me.
As the years have gone by and I’ve continued to walk this journey, I’ve begun to see that vision unfold.
I had to choose, daily, to grow, to heal, and to become secure in who I was—without relying on external validation. It wasn’t an overnight transformation. It was a process, and it required consistency, honesty, and intentional growth.
As the years have gone by and I’ve continued to walk this journey, I’ve begun to see that vision unfold. Today, I’ve grown a community of over 33,000 women across social media who are connected to my voice and my message. I’ve created spaces where women come in one way and leave transformed. At my events, women often share how refreshing the experience was, how seen and loved they felt, and how deeply they needed to hear what was spoken in the room. Online, I regularly receive messages from women who say that my story and testimony have impacted their lives in a meaningful way.
Cute and Christian® was born from that transformation. It’s not just a brand—it’s a calling.
My mission is to raise up and establish women who walk in true identity, authority, and influence—women who are positioned to impact culture not by conforming to it, but by transforming it. I am passionate about helping women step into spaces of influence where they bring freedom, lead with wisdom, and serve with courage and righteous boldness.
At the core of it all, I teach women how to fully embrace their femininity while walking in confidence, clarity, and power—to express leadership, influence, and presence in a way that is both refined and deeply rooted in who they were created to be.
I’m committed to building women who don’t just look the part on the outside, but who are whole, grounded, and impactful from the inside out.
I am committed to raising women who walk in elegance, femininity, authority, and their identity in Christ Jesus—women who influence culture with both grace and power, while showing up absolutely glamorous, because when you look good, you feel good.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I create luxury, immersive experiences for women that combine elegance, personal development, etiquette, and Bible-based teaching to help them build confidence, identity, and influence—and ultimately see themselves at a higher level.
In 2024, I retired from the military as a Sergeant First Class—an experience that shaped my discipline, leadership, and standard of excellence. After years of service, I transitioned into building my brand, Cute and Christian®, where I now channel that same precision into creating transformative, high-level experiences for women.
At its core, my work exists at the intersection of transformation and elegance.
I travel and curate immersive, luxury experiences—elevated gatherings designed not just to be attended, but to be felt. Each experience is intentionally crafted, often inspired by the story of Queen Esther, centering themes of preparation, identity, refinement, and becoming.
But what I do goes far beyond aesthetics.
I create environments where women can step away from the noise and reconnect with who they truly are. Within these spaces, I teach—blending personal development, etiquette, and Bible-based principles—to help women rebuild their identity from the inside out, develop confidence, and carry themselves with clarity, presence, and authority.
The problem I solve is deeper than what’s visible. Many women look put together on the outside but feel disconnected, unsure, or unfulfilled on the inside. I create spaces that close that gap—where women are not only seen and poured into, but also activated.
What I’ve found is that most women are not lacking—they’re simply unactivated. They already carry the vision, the beauty, and the calling. They just need the right environment, the right language, and the right experience to draw it out of them. That’s what I specialize in.
Every detail of my work is intentional. From the color palettes to the textures, the symbolism to the structure of the experience—everything is curated with excellence to communicate one message: you belong here.
I’m most proud of the transformation that happens beyond the moment—when women leave my spaces and begin to show up differently in their lives: more confident, more grounded, and more certain of who they are.
What sets me apart is the fusion.
It’s the ability to hold both depth and beauty at the same time—to create experiences that are visually stunning, yet internally transformative. To teach in a way that is both refined and real, and to create environments where women don’t just feel inspired—they feel changed.
Because for me, this isn’t just about hosting events—it’s about cultivating women who carry elegance, femininity, authority, and identity in Christ Jesus into every room they enter.
Women who don’t just attend the experience—but become it.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
Before I ever had the money, the plan, or the platform—I had the instruction.
For me, the story of funding my business isn’t separate from my faith—it’s the same story. It’s a story of obedience.
Before anything ever manifested, I started receiving confirmation in the most unexpected ways.
I remember being in two completely different places in Dallas—once downtown, and another time at a skating rink. In both moments, two different prophets approached me. Different people. Different environments. But the same exact message:
“Capri, you’re about to host an event in Dallas, Texas.”
At the time, I didn’t have a plan. I didn’t have a strategy. I didn’t even fully understand what that meant. But I felt it. I knew something was shifting, and I believed God was positioning me for purpose. Then one day, I was alone in my room and I heard it clearly: “Capri, you are to host your first event in Dallas.”
No confusion. No hesitation. Just clarity.
The vision came together quickly—a women’s experience inspired by the story of Queen Esther. It was centered on identity, destiny, and how God uses your past to position you for purpose. I taught on how Esther’s past and present converged, how her anointing was pressed out of her, and how everything she went through made room for her in the palace.
The assignment was beautiful, but the reality was I didn’t have the money to execute it. To create the experience the way I saw it, it required about $4,000. The venue, a private chef, a videographer—every intentional detail—it all added up. And at the time, I was new. I was selling tickets for $25.
I remember sitting with that tension, thinking: “God… how are You telling me to do something I don’t have the resources for?”
So I did what I knew to do—I sought wise counsel. I spoke with my mentor. And then I made a decision: If God told me to do it, then His will would cover it. I stepped out in faith and paid for the event myself and less than 24 hours later… everything shifted.
I received a call from my mortgage company. They told me they were running a special for veterans and because of it, I didn’t have to pay my mortgage for the next two months.
Then, shortly after, I received an additional $400 toward the event. In one day, what I had just paid out of pocket was covered. God showed up and that moment marked me.
It taught me that obedience isn’t just spiritual, it’s practical. It requires movement, it requires risk, and it requires you to step forward before everything makes sense. But it also taught me this: I didn’t have the resources, but I had the instruction. I’ve learned that obedience will take you places your resources can’t, because provision will always meet you where obedience leads.

Have you ever had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my life happened when I transitioned out of the military in December 2024—and everything I thought my life would look like began to change almost overnight.
At the time, I was serving in the military while also running a clothing business, Capri’s Vintage Boutique, where I sold curated vintage pieces. I thought I had a clear direction for my life.
But everything shifted when I attended a church service one day, and the pastor prophesied over me. He said, “Young lady, your life is about to change. God has a new direction for you. He’s going to open doors for you—you will walk through them and prosper.”
I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but I knew it was significant.
Shortly after, I went on a 40-day fast—and that’s when everything began to unfold.
On the first day of the fast, I had a dream of a house with the word “closed” written across it, and I heard, “You will hear congratulations soon.” The next day, I dreamed I was on a train labeled “Destination: Dallas, Texas.”
Then another dream—this time I was at the airport, boarding a plane to Dallas.
It didn’t stop there.
In my waking life, I began to notice signs everywhere—cardinals surrounding my home, butterflies appearing in abundance. It felt like everything was pointing me in one direction.
God was repositioning me. Within a matter of weeks, I made the decision to move from North Carolina to Dallas, Texas—without fully understanding why.
But before I even made the move, I had a dream that my father was going to become sick. I saw it clearly. At the time, I didn’t fully understand it but once I arrived in Dallas, that dream became my reality.
My father became critically ill with stage 4 lung cancer, and I stepped into the role of his caretaker. The same week I moved was the week his condition became severe.
What felt like a sudden, overwhelming life shift was actually divine preparation.
For about a year, I cared for my father and during that time, something in me was being developed. It was a season that stretched me emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It taught me how to pray deeply, stand in faith, serve with endurance, serve with compassion, and allow God’s righteousness and love to flow through me.
It wasn’t just about what I was going through—it was about who I was becoming. And now, that same foundation is what I carry into my work—what I teach, how I lead, and how I serve other women.
Everything I thought I was building—my career, my business, my plans—paused.
But in that pause, I was being prepared. After that season, I began to receive clarity. I knew it was time to step fully into what I had been called to do. That’s when Cute and Christian® began to really take shape.
From there, God began to direct my steps in very specific ways—giving me vision, sending confirmation, and guiding me into new cities and spaces. I’ve since hosted experiences and built community in places like Dallas, New York City, Houston, and even internationally.
Looking back, that pivot was one of the hardest seasons of my life—but it was also one of the most necessary.
It taught me that sometimes a pivot isn’t just a change in direction—it’s a complete repositioning for purpose.
And everything I thought I was losing… was actually preparing me for what I was about to build. What felt like a disruption was actually divine direction—God wasn’t taking me off course, He was changing the desires of my heart and placing me exactly where I needed to be.
