Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bruno Costanzo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Bruno thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Located in the heart of the historic district of Roswell Georgia, our business grew from a genuine love for the community and a clear opportunity we saw within it. While Roswell is known for its small-town charm and mix of antique shops and boutiques, we noticed there weren’t many places specifically geared toward men.
We set out to create a space where men could find thoughtfully curated, distinctive products—items that are practical but also interesting and a little unexpected. From the beginning, our focus has been on offering unique merchandise, with an emphasis on supporting and sourcing from local makers whenever possible.
Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, we purchased our location. As a builder, the slowdown that followed gave us the unexpected gift of time—time we poured into renovating the space and bringing our vision to life. What started as an idea quickly became something tangible, shaped by both our craftsmanship and our commitment to the community.
In the end, our store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a reflection of Roswell itself: welcoming, distinctive, and deeply connected to the people who call it home.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I founded my building business in 2005, inspired by the creative process of turning an empty space into something functional and complete. Over time, I found myself looking for new ways to express that creativity beyond traditional construction.
In 2020, I came across a building for sale just down the street from my home. After a quick conversation with my wife—and her enthusiastic support—we decided to go for it. Not long after closing on the property, the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. As construction projects slowed, I shifted my focus to renovating the space and bringing to life a retail concept I had been thinking about for years.
At the heart of our store is a passion for grilling and outdoor living. We carry a curated selection of premium products, including Big Green Egg and Recteq grills, griddles, pizza ovens, and even golf carts. A couple of years ago, we expanded to add a fully functional outdoor kitchen, where we now host events and hands-on cooking classes that bring people together around food and fire.
While grilling is a major focus, it’s only one part of what we offer. We stock locally sourced spices and rubs, charcoal, and a wide range of lifestyle goods—from high-end coolers and fire pits to footwear, hats, local school spirit wear, mixology essentials, and unique gifts for both men and women.
To make the experience even more inviting, we offer guests a sample of locally crafted beer from From the Earth Brewing Company to enjoy while they browse, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the most rewarding parts of opening the store has been the relationships we’ve built. Every day brings a mix of new customers discovering us for the first time and familiar faces stopping in just to say hello. That sense of connection—and the energy it creates—is what makes this journey so meaningful.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective way to grow your business is through positive reviews from satisfied customers that connect with potential buyers. When your current customers are happy, they naturally spread the word. And when someone is ready to spend—especially a significant amount—they want confidence in what they’re purchasing, and your reputation plays a direct role in that trust.

Have you ever had to pivot?
As a builder, I’ve always adapted to the market. When new construction slowed, I focused on renovations; when demand picked up and buyers were active, I shifted back to building. That experience taught me the importance of flexibility—you can’t rely on just one approach. The same applies to Roswell General. You can’t depend on a single product to sustain the business. You have to keep evolving, staying aware of trends, and always looking for the next thing your customers will want.
