We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brie A. Whitehead a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Brie A., looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
We are not your typical Real Estate Company. How we differ is our concept is simple and to the point, for example we are working on our Office / Coffee & Cake Shop.. the concept is “Come for a coffee, leave with a home.” We don’t harass clients, or even cold call our concept is we invite our clients or passerby’s to come in for a coffee, a cake and leave with a little knowledge of Real Estate whether buying now or in the future this makes our clients feel like they’re getting into Real Estate in a comfortable and friendly experience which is often not the case in the business.
Brie A., love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Our Broker has been in the industry for over 40 years.. he is known in many parts of the world for his career and he truly understands how to get the best deals and secure the best clients because he is so knowledgeable and clever.
We are currently expanding our company realtors, it started with a dad and daughter team; now with the company taking on bigger projects and opening shop’s it will soon become a household name.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Most effective strategy is a no-brainer, the best way to understand the market and understand the clients you are tailoring too is to narrow down the area in which you are targeting.. it seems everyone and their mother in Florida is a Real Estate agent, and how to make a career is finding the right company and understanding the market your targeting.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
The only hard part in the game is starting.. and how to start.. starting a new company in a new state with a different audience is not easy. The capitol has come from our own sales and hard work, we haven’t received a loan or had any business partners. It is only Mark Whitehead – our Broker and Brie Whitehead – his daughter. Learning and making smart decisions to be able to start a successful business and not getting caught up in making the quick buck by just targeting the high end, we all have to start somewhere and we started in a small area which had a lot of turn over, small prices which only each sale gave us a couple thousand but the turn over was huge- selling at minimum 10 properties per month gave us the capitol to reach a higher clientele and broaden our areas.
