Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Briana Dumont. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Briana, thanks for joining us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
If I could go back, I honestly wouldn’t change when I started my business.
My journey into Briwitched Blessings really began long before it officially existed. I started reading tarot when I was around 12, and over the years I kept hearing the same thing from people-that my readings were accurate, that they felt seen, that it helped guide them. For a long time, I just held that as something personal… until eventually I had the moment of “why not actually do something with this?”
From there, it naturally expanded. I started sharing more of who I am spiritually and mystically, offering insight, guidance, and eventually products rooted in the practices I genuinely take part in. Over time, that blended with my love of art. Everything I create carries intention. There’s thought, energy, and a piece of me in it.
If I had started sooner, I don’t think I would have been as confident in my voice or as grounded in my practice. I might have second-guessed myself more or shaped things around what I thought people expected instead of what felt true to me.
If I had started later, I think I would have missed out on so much growth. A lot of what I’ve learned came from just starting. Figuring things out, connecting with people, and allowing the business to evolve alongside me.
Looking back, the timing feels right. The business didn’t come from a perfectly planned idea. It came from years of lived experience, intuition, and eventually trusting myself enough to share it. And I think that’s exactly why it feels as authentic as it does today.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Bri, and I am the witch behind Briwitched Blessings, a space where spirituality, creativity, and intention all come together in a way that feels grounded, personal, and real.
My journey into this work started young. I began reading tarot around the age of 12, and over the years it became something people naturally gravitated toward me for. I was consistently told that my readings were accurate, insightful, and genuinely helpful in guiding people through different parts of their lives. For a long time, it was something I kept more personal, but eventually I realized this wasn’t just a hobby, it was something I was meant to share.
From there, my work expanded into something much more holistic. Alongside tarot and intuitive readings, I began offering products rooted in my own spiritual practices like crystals, candles, altar tools, spell kits, and handcrafted pieces that are all created with intention. I also blend my love of art into what I do, creating pieces that feel both visually meaningful and energetically aligned. Everything I make or offer is something I personally connect with and use in my own practice.
At its core, what I do is help people feel more connected to themselves, their intuition, and the energy around them. Whether it’s through a reading that offers clarity, a ritual tool that supports their practice, or even just educational content that makes spirituality feel more approachable, my goal is to create a space where people feel supported without judgment or pressure.
I think what sets me apart is that nothing about what I do is surface-level or purely aesthetic. This isn’t about trends or mass-produced spirituality. It’s lived, practiced, and intentional. I’m not just selling products or offering readings, I’m sharing something that is actively part of my everyday life. That authenticity matters, and people can feel the difference.
I’m especially proud of how organically this business has grown. It wasn’t built on a strict blueprint, it evolved naturally from years of experience, trust, and connection. The community that has formed around my work means a lot to me, and I don’t take lightly the fact that people allow me into such personal parts of their lives through readings and spiritual guidance.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s that they don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You don’t need to be “perfect” or deeply experienced to explore spirituality or creativity. This space is meant to feel accessible, supportive, and real.
At the end of the day, everything I do is rooted in intention, growth, and connection, and that’s something I’ll always protect as both my business and I continue to evolve 🖤

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think what helped me build my reputation most is consistency in both my work and my intention.
From the beginning, I’ve approached everything I offer, whether it’s a reading, a product, or even a post, with genuine care. When people come to me for guidance, they’re often in vulnerable or transitional spaces, and I take that seriously. I focus on being honest, intuitive, and grounded in my readings rather than telling people what they want to hear. That kind of integrity builds trust over time.
I also think transparency has played a big role. I don’t present myself as someone who has everything perfectly figured out. I share my journey as it is. I feel that allows people to connect with me in a real way rather than feeling like there’s a disconnect.
Another big factor has been word of mouth. So much of my business has grown from people sharing their experiences with others, whether it’s how accurate a reading felt or how much intention they could feel in something I created. That kind of organic support means so much to me, because it comes from genuine impact.
And finally, I stay rooted in what I actually practice. Nothing I offer is just for aesthetics or trends. It’s all part of my real life, and I think people can feel that. That authenticity, combined with consistency and care, is what has really built my reputation over time.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has honestly been word of mouth and community-based spaces.
A lot of my growth has come from people sharing their experiences with others, whether it’s a reading that really resonated with them or a product they felt connected to. When someone feels genuinely seen or supported, they tend to talk about it, and that kind of referral carries a lot of trust.
Social media has also played a big role, especially platforms where I can interact more directly with people. My Facebook group in particular has been a really strong space for connection. It allows me to offer more personal, interactive content like card pulls, discussions, and exclusive offerings which helps people get a feel for my energy and approach before ever booking or purchasing.
I’ve also seen a lot of growth through in-person markets and events. Being able to meet people face-to-face, talk about what I do, and let them experience the work in real time creates a different level of connection that often turns into long-term clients.
Overall, the common thread is connection. Whether it’s online or in person, people tend to find me through spaces where they can actually engage with me, not just passively view what I offer—and that’s been the most impactful source of growth for my business.
