We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brian Wilturner . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brian below.
Brian , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
The idea came to me from seeing black and brown being killed during which supposedly to be a simple traffic stop. I’ve seen to many people being shot during traffic stop and I didn’t want this problem landing on my door step. I have 3 kids who I’m responsible for protecting and will make sure they survive police encounters. So I needed to come up with a solution for safer traffic stops for drivers and police officers.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Brian Wilturner I from Houston Tx. Raised by a single mother in Houston we moved a lot around Houston and I saw a lot. Police brutality is a major red flag in the black communities around the world. So instead of continuing complaining about the brutality of police officers I decided to come up with a solution for the problem with THEPOCKETUSA. Instead of reaching for your license and insurance now with THEPOCKETUSA everything the officers going to ask you for will be available and ready outside your vehicle to keep them in a comfortable state of mind while interacting with the drivers.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I believe that the most effective way I’ve built my clientele is being consistent with what I’m doing. THEPOCKETUSA pretty much speaks for itself by solving a problem that we’ve seen for generations police brutality is a thing it’s been that way and probably going to stay that way for a while. So my clientele is growing because of the support I’m getting from everyone that’s believed in my vision with THEPOCKETUSA for stopping police brutality.
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
The sacrifice is real. So starting my company I knew it was going to cost something and keep this in mind it was during the pandemic so hardly no money was being made. So I had to sacrifice mortgage payments to fund this company and by the hard work and dedication that I have it’s starting to come together it’s not where it need to be but I’m going to continue to put the work in to make THEPOCKETUSA a house hold name.
