We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Austin Crawford a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Austin, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. So, we’d appreciate if you could open up about your growth story and the nitty, gritty details that went into scaling up.

Being consistent, consistency is not easy, especially when life throws us through tough times. Sometimes when we’re at a low, we don’t want to persevere and post our content or come up with new ideas because it’s just too much work. All it takes is the extra mile to eventually get that one video to blow up! Consistency then led to being more credible, and then gaining more followers!

Austin, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m a part-time content creator that balance his life as full-time college student! I create videos online which then turn into brand deals and being able to change people’s life, and inspire them through the word of Jesus!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

One goal that I have while creating content is to show all my viewers that I’m living my life for the Lord and how Jesus can change their lives to by showing my experiences in college in church and in my life.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

I think the biggest book that is crucial to anyone’s business is the Bible. It teaches us all the basic principalities of how to live life and how to go about things how to treat people like coworkers and my viewers. It also gives me the wisdom and guidance on how to live my every day life.
