We recently connected with Aubree Mitchell and have shared our conversation below.
Aubree, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
One of the things my parents did right was instilling resilience, work ethic, and the belief that I could create any life I wanted if I was willing to put in the work.
Some of my favorite memories growing up are in the gym with my dad. That’s really where my love for fitness began. It wasn’t just about working out, it was about consistency, discipline, and showing up for yourself. Those moments shaped the foundation of not only my career, but how I move through life.
My parents had me very young, at 15 and 17, so for much of my life things were not easy. They were still growing up themselves while raising me, and there were a lot of challenges that came with that. But what stands out to me now, especially as a 32 year old, is their incredible capacity to change.
They didn’t evolve because they were forced to or because something was at risk of being taken away. They chose to do the deep, often uncomfortable work to become better people simply because they wanted a better life and a more meaningful experience in the time we have here. That is rare.
That ability to radically change, to take accountability, and to grow is the greatest trait they passed down to me. It’s something I carry into every area of my life and my career.
Now, I actually see having young parents as one of the biggest blessings. I get to grow older with them. I get more time, more shared experiences, and more life alongside them than most people do with their parents.
They also taught me to be a self starter, to move with integrity, and to stand strong in who I am. To be kind, but not passive. To understand that you can be a good person and still have boundaries. That you can pursue big things without losing your values.
That combination of resilience, personal responsibility, and deep inner work is what shaped me into who I am today, and it’s the foundation of everything I’m building.

Aubree, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Aubree Mitchell, the founder of Aligned Movement, a holistic wellness platform designed to help women build strong, sustainable, and aligned lives from the inside out.
My specialty is women’s longevity-focused wellness. I’m deeply passionate about helping women not just look good in the short term, but actually feel, function, and age well over the course of their entire lives. That means focusing on quality of movement, quality of ingredients, nervous system health, and habits that are realistic enough to sustain long term.
My professional background is rooted in both fitness and holistic health. I’m a Certified Holistic Health Coach, NASM certified personal trainer, and a certified Pilates, yoga, and group fitness instructor with over 7 years industry experience. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients and consistently saw the same issue: women were either overdoing it with extreme fitness and diet trends, or they felt completely overwhelmed and disconnected from where to even begin.
That’s really what led me to create Aligned Movement.
Through my platform, I offer form-focused workouts, Pilates, strength training, yoga, and meditation. Beyond that, I offer structured programs, coaching, and educational content that help women build routines they can actually stick to.
But more than just workouts or meal ideas, what I’m really building is a community.
A huge part of my mission is creating a space where women feel connected, supported, and seen, no matter where they are in the world. So many women are trying to navigate their health and wellness journey alone, and it often leads to burnout, inconsistency, or feeling like they’re constantly starting over. I want to change that by giving them both the tools and the environment to succeed.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t believe in extremes. I’m not here to push unrealistic standards or short term transformations. I lead by example and focus on making wellness feel approachable, enjoyable, and sustainable. It’s about showing women that taking care of themselves can feel good, not restrictive or overwhelming. I believe if you have to starve your self or spend more than 5 hours in the gym a week or worry about a vacation ruining your progress to maintain your physique, you’re a slave to your routine and that needs to change.
I’m most proud of the fact that everything I’ve built is rooted in integrity. I care deeply about what I promote, what I teach, and how I show up. Whether it’s the workouts, the food, or the lifestyle practices, it all aligns with my values of longevity, simplicity, and authenticity.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and my brand, it’s that this is about so much more than fitness. It’s about helping women reconnect with themselves, build confidence through consistency, and create a life that actually feels as good as it looks.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Honestly, a big part of it is holding myself to a very high standard.
I joke that it’s “by being the best,” but what I really mean is a commitment to mastery. I’ve invested heavily in my education and continue to keep my credentials and knowledge up to date so I can stay sharp and evolve with the industry. This space is constantly changing, and I take seriously the responsibility of being someone my clients trust.
To me, exercise and nutrition are not surface-level topics. They are the gateway to a long, vibrant life. That makes the work I do feel incredibly sacred.
Because of that, I don’t take a casual approach to programming or education. Without proper structure, intention, and understanding, the risk of injury increases and people end up frustrated or discouraged. My role is to create clarity, safety, and results in a way that actually supports someone’s long term wellbeing.
I also think my reputation has been built on integrity. I care deeply about doing things the right way, not the trendy way. I’m not here to chase quick wins or push what’s popular if it doesn’t truly serve my clients. I want to give women the best tools available so they can make informed decisions about their bodies, their health, and their routines.
At the end of the day, people trust me to guide them in an area that directly impacts their quality of life. I don’t take that lightly, and I think that level of care and responsibility is what has allowed me to build a strong reputation in my space.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
To be completely honest, this is something I’m still actively learning and refining.
I’ve been in the industry for about seven years, but my background was primarily in-person training and coaching. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that building a personal brand online first is incredibly important, especially when you’re transitioning into digital products or an online platform.
If I could do it differently, I would have focused on growing my online presence and establishing trust with an audience before launching my digital fitness studio. Creating something valuable is one thing, but people need to know who you are and believe in your expertise before they’re ready to invest.
So right now, my most effective strategy is centered around building that foundation.
I’m focused on growing my personal brand, showing up consistently online, and positioning myself as a trusted voice in the women’s longevity wellness space. That means sharing valuable content, giving people a real look into how I live and what I teach, and building a genuine connection with my audience.
What I’ve found is that trust drives everything. When people feel connected to you and see the way you think, teach, and live, they’re much more likely to become clients because they already believe in what you offer.
So while I’m still evolving my strategy, I would say the biggest shift, and what’s been most effective so far, is prioritizing connection and credibility through my personal brand.
