Ashley, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

I became inspired by others I’ve seen on social media and from there I started researching the recommended products to be able to make the items I do along with watching tutorials.

My name is Ashley, I consider myself to be someone that has many hobbies. I got into making jewelry because I couldn’t find jewelry that I envisioned, so I decided to make my own, being inspired by others in the same craft I’m in. I currently make earrings and hair clips. I’m proud that I’m able to express myself through what I do.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My goal is to create fun jewelry that others will enjoy and want to wear.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is that I’m able to express myself through my craft.
