We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Anna Nuby. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Anna below.
Anna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
Wow what a heavy question…. What did my parents do right and how great it impacted my life? My parents messed up! They made mistakes, they failed, they lost, they took losses in major ways.
Both being born into brown families by young parents with no proper upbringing and of descendants who were not accepted or seen equal in America. My parents did not have a healthy or fair start in life.
The absence of my father in early childhood forced me to find live within myself and inside my own world to fill the void. The emotional absence of my mother taught me patience and forgiveness for the ugly world around me. It taught me to meet ppl in their world and understand that people can only see you, hear you, feel for you in the capacity that they’ve been introduced to through their own actions
The mistakes my parents made as young adults and parents, are how I failed my way to the top and was able to break generational curses in my own life when I became a parent at a young age.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Anna, and I’m the founder and CEO of 5051 Productions, a growing media and content creation company that focuses on podcast production, storytelling, and digital media. I started the company in 2017 with a vision to create meaningful conversations and content that connects with people on real-life topics.
Over the years, 5051 Productions has developed into a platform where we produce podcasts and multimedia content that discuss subjects like personal development, parenthood, relationships, mental health, and career growth. Our goal is to create authentic conversations and relatable content that people can learn from and connect with.
In addition to podcast production, we focus on content creation and managing social media presence across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Spotify. We share behind-the-scenes content, business updates, and real discussions that help build a strong and supportive online community.
With nearly a decade of experience, 5051 Productions continues to grow, and we’re currently preparing for the next phase of expansion as we reach more viewers and listeners. My passion is building a brand that not only entertains but also inspires, informs, and brings real conversations to the forefront.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My life’s purpose is to use my real-life experiences as a platform to show what healing and living as your highest self can truly look like. Through my journey—both the challenges and the growth—I aim to create honest conversations that inspire others to reflect, heal, and evolve. As the founder of 5051 Productions, I use storytelling, podcasting, and digital media to share authentic perspectives on personal development, relationships, mental health, and everyday life. My goal isn’t just to create content, but to build a space where people feel seen, encouraged, and empowered to pursue their own healing and become the best version of themselves.

How did you build your audience on social media?
A big part of how I’ve connected with my audience is by being open about my real life. My journey through motherhood, financial hardships, family trauma, and learning to stand firm in my own values and beliefs has shaped the content I share. I’ve also chosen a non-traditional path in life, and instead of hiding those struggles or differences, I’ve used them as a way to be honest and transparent with my followers. By sharing both the difficult moments and the growth that comes from them, people have been able to relate to my story on a deeper level. That authenticity is what helped me build my social media presence—because my platform isn’t about perfection, it’s about real life, healing, and showing that it’s possible to keep evolving no matter where you start.
