We recently connected with Angel Johnson and have shared our conversation below.
Angel, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I’m hoping to build a legacy that is rooted in helping others as we climb. This may sound weird, but I’m ok if people don’t remember me personally, I want the the continuance of the values and the actions I did while I was here to be the legacy.
Angel, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I used money that I made from one of my deployments in the Air Force as the initial capital to start my business. Most of my entrepreneurial journey has been funded through bootstrapping and reinvesting from sales back into the business.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn how to prioritize my schedule and not to be so rigid. As a former military officer, I used to be very rigid about my schedule and trying to have everything be a number one priority. I learned that this was unsustainable as a business owner and have since adjusted to be more flexible with my schedule and learned to prioritize things into bins to determine if they are important, urgent, or neither.
