We were lucky to catch up with Andrew Wade recently and have shared our conversation below.
Andrew, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
I wish I could have started this journey a lot sooner. I’ve always had that interest in me, I remember at 14 wanting to get into an acting class but we couldn’t afford it so I kind of just put in on the back burner and thought.. one day I will be able to take that class. That day was almost 15 years later at 27 years old but better late than never right? Now I’m taking classes, landing roles and putting my all into it and hoping this can lead to so much more.

Andrew, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Well I got into this industry by just showing up as an extra one day and loved it, soon after started taking classes and networking and getting the feel of of it all, I do a bit of everything from acting, to modeling to stunts, recently voiceovers as well, anything and everything to be involved in this type of work. I’d say what sets me a part from others is my drive and dedication, also I’ve struggled with social anxiety my whole life so to do something where your constantly judged and Infront of crowds/cameras is a win every time I do it, it has helped me grow as an individual and to stop limiting myself and go for it all, it’s made me a more confident person and gave me a better mindset and outlook on life. I’d say I’m the most proud of myself and how far I’ve come, I was my biggest critic for so long and I’ve put that behind me and learned to just embrace the experience and life and all the pieces will fall where they need to. I want everyone to know that no matter how hard something might seem or how crazy of an idea you think it is, just go for it you never know what’s on the other side of that opportunity.. it could be life changing…

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an actor would be bringing someone’s vision to life the best that I can, the trust they gave me to do this makes it so worth it when I put my all into a character and they love it. It makes me happy to make others happy, especially if they took a chance on me.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Well it’s been a lot of trial and error but I’d say just show some love, you got to show love to get love, whether it be liking and commenting on others posts, reposting etc, try to convent with others and don’t let up.
