We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Anastacia Jordan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Anastacia below.
Anastacia, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Going from idea to execution really started for me during COVID in 2020, when everything slowed down and I had time to reflect. I remember asking myself some very honest questions: What do I truly enjoy doing? What would I still love to do even if I wasn’t getting paid for it? What actually sparks my creativity?
And the answer was always the same—creating drinks and creating experiences for people.
Hospitality has always come naturally to me. I love crafting cocktails, but more importantly, I love the feeling people get when they walk up to a bar and are welcomed with great energy, great service, and something beautiful in their glass.
In that moment, I realized bartending was the one thing where my creativity, my personality, and my passion for people all came together. So instead of just seeing it as a job, I started thinking about how I could turn it into something bigger.
That’s when the idea of my mobile bartending business was born—and from there, it was all about taking that passion and turning it into a real experience people could bring to their celebrations.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My journey in hospitality started in 2014. My very first restaurant job was as a hostess at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails. That experience really introduced me to the world of restaurants, guest service, and the energy that comes with creating great experiences for people.
Shortly after that, I began working at Hooters, and that’s where I truly built my foundation in the hospitality industry. I started as a hostess, but over time I worked my way up to server, then bartender, and eventually became a trainer.
Working my way through those different roles gave me hands-on experience with every part of the guest experience—from the moment someone walks in the door to the final interaction at the bar. It also helped me discover my passion for bartending and hospitality, which eventually led me to pursue entrepreneurship and create my own mobile bartending business.
Looking back, those early years in the restaurant industry really shaped my work ethic, my customer service style, and my love for creating memorable experiences for people.
Here’s a smooth, magazine-ready response that blends your story with how you entered the industry and grew into luxury mobile bartending:
⸻
My journey into the mobile bartending industry started very organically. In the beginning, I was simply creating drinks that I loved and sharing them with the people around me. I would make bottled cocktails—different margaritas, lemonades, and signature drinks—and post them on social media. One of the drinks that really caught people’s attention was a peach lemonade that I created. Friends, family, and even coworkers started buying them, and I would bring business cards with me and tell people about my mobile bartending services.
That’s really how everything began—word of mouth and community support.
One of my very first events was a birthday party in Lithonia. Shortly after that, I did a graduation party that same year, and from there the momentum just kept growing. More people started booking me for parties and celebrations, and each event helped me build my confidence and my reputation.
As time went on, I began connecting with event planners and other professionals in the event industry. That’s when my business really started to evolve. I transitioned from simply serving drinks to creating full luxury mobile bar experiences—beautiful setups, curated cocktail menus, and elevated service designed to enhance people’s celebrations.
What started with a few bottled drinks and social media posts eventually grew into a full-service mobile bartending business, and it’s been an incredible journey watching something so small turn into something so impactful.
Today, my business offers a range of mobile bar experiences designed to elevate celebrations of all kinds. I provide mobile bartending services for events such as birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and many other special occasions where clients want a professional and memorable bar experience.
I also offer mocktail bar services for clients who prefer alcohol-free options but still want beautifully crafted, elevated drinks for their guests. These experiences are especially popular for family-friendly events, baby showers, and wellness-focused celebrations.
In addition to event bartending, I host interactive mixology classes where guests can learn how to craft their own cocktails in a fun and engaging setting. These classes are perfect for birthdays, girls’ nights, Galentine’s celebrations, and any event where people want a hands-on experience along with great drinks.
For me, it’s always been about more than just serving beverages. It’s about creating an experience that brings people together and makes every celebration feel a little more special.
The biggest problem I solve for my clients is taking the stress of bar service completely off their plate. When people are planning an event, there are already so many details to manage, and the bar can quickly become one of the biggest headaches if it’s not handled properly.
My goal is to remove that burden from them entirely. I handle everything from creating a customized cocktail menu and naming the signature drinks to managing the full bar setup, service, and breakdown. From start to finish, I oversee the entire bar experience so my clients don’t have to worry about the flow of the bar or the logistics behind it.
By taking care of those details, it allows my clients to actually enjoy their event, spend time with their guests, and be fully present during their celebration. Knowing that the bar is professionally managed gives them peace of mind, and that’s really the experience I strive to provide.
What truly sets me apart is my foundation in hospitality and my dedication to my craft. Having worked in the hospitality industry since 2014, I’ve learned that great service goes far beyond just serving drinks—it’s about creating an experience and making every guest feel welcomed and valued.
My work ethic has always guided how I approach my business. I take pride in every detail, from the presentation of the drinks to the overall energy and professionalism behind the bar. I focus heavily on customer service and hospitality because those are the things that truly leave a lasting impression on people.
I also allow my creativity to speak through my work—whether it’s through the cocktails I create, the menus I design, or the overall experience I bring to an event. I believe that when you combine professionalism, creativity, and genuine hospitality, it naturally sets you apart.
At the end of the day, I let my service, my work, and the experiences I create for clients speak for themselves.
What I’m most proud of is the growth. Both personally and professionally. Over the last five years, I’ve watched my brand, Top Tier, evolve from a simple idea into something that has truly elevated into a full experience for our clients.
I’m incredibly proud of the creativity that has gone into building the brand, the dedication it has taken to keep growing, and the opportunities we’ve had to serve so many different celebrations along the way. Every event, every setup, and every cocktail menu has played a role in shaping what Top Tier has become today.
But more than anything, I’m proud of the relationships we’ve built with our clients. Their trust and support have allowed us to continue doing what we love. At the end of the day, our clients are the reason we exist, and being able to contribute to their special moments and celebrations is something I’ll always be grateful for.
One of the biggest things I want potential clients, followers, and anyone who has been watching this journey to understand is that entrepreneurship is not easy. It’s not always a straight path, and it’s definitely not a walk in the park. But you have to believe in yourself, have faith in your vision, and trust that the work you’re putting in will eventually speak for itself.
I’ve learned that when you stay consistent, operate with integrity, and remain genuine in who you are, those qualities will take you a long way. Networking, building relationships, and showing up authentically has opened many doors for me throughout this journey.
I also believe that you’re never truly out of place. You’re always exactly where you’re supposed to be, learning the lessons you need at the right time.
Most importantly, I value the trust my clients place in me. Being trusted to be part of someone’s big day or special celebration is something I never take lightly. Delivering exceptional, top-tier bar service and creating an experience my clients can be proud of is always my top priority, and it’s what continues to drive me every day.

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
When it came to funding my business in the beginning, I truly built it from the ground up using my own earnings. At the time, I was working as a bartender at Twin Peaks, and every shift I worked, I made it a priority to set aside a percentage of the money I earned that night specifically for my business.
Instead of waiting until I had a large amount of capital, I built everything step by step. The first investment I made was establishing my LLC and getting business cards so I could start putting my name and services out there. From there, I gradually began purchasing small but essential bar tools and supplies—pour spouts, bar caddies, straws, garnish holders, and different liqueurs and purées so I could experiment with cocktail recipes and build my menu.
In the beginning, I didn’t have everything all at once. I simply started with what I could afford and continued reinvesting into the business as I grew. Every shift I worked helped fund another piece of the vision.
Over time, those small purchases added up. What started as a few basic tools eventually turned into an entire room filled with inventory—from different styles of cups and straws to napkins, bar tools, and everything needed to run a full mobile bar service.
Looking back, that process taught me a lot about patience, discipline, and believing in the long-term vision. I truly built my business piece by piece, and seeing how much it has grown since those early days is something I’m incredibly proud of.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Managing a team is not always easy, but it is absolutely worth it. For me, it’s about making sure every team member feels valued, appreciated, and that their voice and input truly matter. Respect and empathy are the foundation of building morale—you have to show your team that you genuinely care.
I also focus on encouragement through little gestures, constructive feedback, and creating opportunities for growth. Simple things like saying “please” and “thank you,” recognizing their hard work, and finding ways to help them grow within the team make a huge difference.
Most importantly, I lead with kindness and gratitude. Without my team, Top Tier doesn’t exist. Our bartenders are the heart of every event, pouring not just drinks but energy, service, and care into each celebration. The success of my business relies entirely on them, and showing them love, respect, and appreciation every single day is one of the most important parts of being a leader.
