We were lucky to catch up with Amir Bryant recently and have shared our conversation below.
Amir, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew when I would see topics online talking about things I was interested in but no one shared my thoughts or views on it I knew this was something I needed to give a chance and try out and see if I can grow it I’m an open thinker if you ever seen my content
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
So what got me into the industry was my wife I I use to talk to her about wanting to start a podcast and she would be like do it can’t lie I was very nervous and second guest my self a lot but she took me to Best Buy and purchased my first microphone and told me don’t be afraid you are an amazing talker but I didn’t just wanna talk to myself I wanted to put my home state on which is New Jersey so I told her if we gonna do this I wanna talk to up and coming artist from the state of New Jersey and if the industry don’t let me in I’ll bring the industry to me and it is a slow process of getting the right eye balls on my platform but I don’t do it just to make money and be famous or popular I do it for people who don’t have a voice the industry can be very mean to up and comers and I know that so as it grows the guest get bigger and better but I will never stop interviewing up and comers they are the core support system of the I don’t care what you think podcast don’t ever think because a guest does not want to work with you or someone dislikes your content that means stop no it will be hard and very stressful but if you want to give it a try at least give it 100% of effort and if there is no turn around then you can question on letting it go I have been there I wanted to walk away many times but who am I to give up on something I didn’t give my all on so that’s what I did and I’m proud of my creation from my cohost RAYSPITTA to every single guest who stops by the platform my dream is to be a platform that is the biggest platform for breaking new artist and when I say artist I mean musicians actors dancers poets anyone who is moving in a positive light
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
That it’s just business nothing personal we have had guest cancel at the last minute and it use to make me so mad but that was the non business man and creator in me I had to learn that you do not know these people personally and it is okay just get up dust your self off and keep going they hopefully will see your vision very soon and now ask can they be apart of the platform so yes it’s business not personal I had to un learn that, that is a real thing
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Hearing people tell me this was the most fun and the best experience they have had being on the platform and the fans who truly enjoy every second of the content we push out here on the network

Yes sir! The respect I have for this man Amir Bryant is out of this world. No matter what’s thrown his way, he keeps pushing forward. Never forgetting where he came from, where he started with his platform to where he is now and will be in the future. The podcats to platform is just getting bigger and better, and he remains just as humble as day one. Only difference is the idcwyt platform now speaks for itself without him having to. NOTHING BUT LOVE AND RESTEPCT!
