We recently connected with Amber McMillian and have shared our conversation below.
Amber , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?
I came up with the idea for my creative service business by shooting family and friends, I love what I do. I like to capture moments create moments for individuals to always keeps I realize that some memories cannot be replaced and seeing the difference in each individual and what they are asking me to create for them listening to them hearing their stories. I try to capture that for them so they can always remember it. I felt that I could succeed in this business because one I learned it from my mother who also did photography than me catching onto photography and just having a creative side, it comes out through the lens

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Nowadays, photography is a little bit more competitive industry, that you will have to put your individual stamp and approval onto your worked to step out and be different from others with me and dealing with my clients I like to again listen to what they are asking me to do Maybe also give suggestions of things that may be different that they may have not thought of, and have that come through my services that I provided my clients that way we are all on one page and we get it done almost proud of being able to build different type types of clientele opening outdoors to more opportunity. More plans more business adventures. My next business adventure is also with my business partner. we have not started media production team called DNA creator space so in doing that we have now put together hair beauty makeup and the media industry all in one space so everything is a building process and I will continue to build and create everlasting memories for my clients fans, followers, etc.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
What I can say about building your social media content is you have to be consistent with social media .You have to catch you have to catch your audience eye. You have to stay engaged with them at all times you have to create a niche if not know your niche so that way your page is always consistent of what is going on with your business always pay attention to your analytics will show you exactly what your page is doing how the numbers are falling and you can build from there. Social media is a big numbers game.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My my goal is to or mission is to eventually keep growing my business make it become a legacy for my family, which is my son so he would have something to look back at and fall back on growing. This business means a lot to me just to be successful, not to let it fall cause it’s my business. It’s my baby. It’s something that I built from the ground up. I love to create anything creative. I’m there from fashion, music, photography videos I’m all there so my creative journey is never ending is always revolving and flowing with what is new and exciting in the world.
