Alice, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One deeply underappreciated facet of entrepreneurship is the kind of crazy stuff we have to deal with as business owners. Sometimes it’s crazy positive sometimes it’s crazy negative, but crazy experiences unite entrepreneurs regardless of industry. Can you share a crazy story with our readers?
One of my clients was experiencing delays selling his business. Something would always come up with the buyer. Debt was accumulating and it was becoming more stressful with each day. He booked a reading with me and I shared some insights – specifically some dates and why this deal wasn’t going through. Six months later when he had a follow-up reading, he told me that he had sold the business! He listened to what I shared with him and was able to negotiate a sale with a buyer!
I don’t always get to follow-up with clients so I was really happy to hear this story. Especially because this situation was really stressful for him and my career astrology reading helped guide him during the process.

I have a practical approach to astrology so it’s really easy to understand. My background is in consumer marketing and e-commerce so I understand how to apply astrologer to business. I am also expanding into showcasing how astrology can help you at work. I don’t just want to help you when you’re looking for a new job/starting a new business but also how to use astrology in business to help you get ahead.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I come from a marketing background but when you start your own business you begin to realize it’s very different to market yourself! Last year, I took my own advice and started to consistently post on social media. One of the most important things about building a social media presence is to be consistent. Start a challenge for yourself like posting every day for 30 days. It’s really made a big difference in my business! It’s also really important to be consistent with what you share. Have a few content topics and focus on getting known as “the ______.” In my case, I wanted people to know me as an astrologer who can help you with career transitions and changes.
Have you ever had to pivot?
It was a big leap of faith to start this business. It was 2019 and I was living in the Washington, D.C. area. It seemed kinda crazy to start a spiritual business centered around events back then. I wondered what people would think as I had just left my e-commerce business and marketing career before that. I had to do a lot of healing around not caring about what people thought and building up my confidence. Growing this business has been a big part of my healing journey. I happy to choose myself and to trust my intuition by starting this business. Oh, and I wasn’t crazy. People loved the events in D.C.!
