The decision to pursue a career as a window treatment professional crystallized for me during a significant home renovation project over a decade ago. This realization sparked a deep passion within me, compelling me to explore and immerse myself in the intricacies of window treatments. With over a decade of dedicated experience in the window treatment industry, I, Aleksandra, am truly passionate about the world of window fashion design and the beauty it brings to homes. My academic journey took an unexpected turn after earning a degree in Psychology. While I didn’t follow the traditional post-graduation path, my fascination with environmental psychology remains a driving force in my design philosophy. I firmly believe that well-thought-out interior design elements have the power to elicit positive emotions, fostering creativity, tranquility, and an overall sense of joy within individuals.

My personal journey has been one of international exploration. A move from Poland to the United States during my formative teenage years exposed me to the richness of two continents. This unique blend of experiences has greatly influenced my design aesthetic, marrying the allure of contemporary European design with the timeless appeal of Mid-Century Modern American style. My adaptability is a defining trait, allowing me to seamlessly align my creative vision with the specific desires and personal preferences of my clients. This adaptability ensures that every project result is a bespoke masterpiece that exudes elegance and refinement.

Integrity is at the core of my approach to design. Meticulous attention to detail is not just a trait but a way of life for me. This commitment to perfection, combined with my excellent communication skills, has been instrumental in fostering enduring relationships with a diverse clientele. Whether it’s collaborating with private clients, partnering with interior designers, or working alongside architects in the Philadelphia area, I take pride in the bonds I’ve forged within the industry.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I embrace the joys of motherhood, raising two spirited and charming boys named Roger and Oliver. These little dynamos have taught me the value of expecting the unexpected, a lesson that parallels the ever-evolving nature of design.

In the moments when I’m not crafting captivating interiors, I’m off on adventures with my beloved family. Together with my husband, Tom, and our kids, I relish the thrill of exploring new cultures, savoring diverse cuisines, and dancing to the rhythm of life’s melodies. Summer finds us on sandy shores, immersed in captivating books or sculpting sandcastles with creative zeal. As winter blankets the landscape, I trade the sand for slopes, skiing from the break of dawn till the day’s end.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
