Albert C., thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
There are a lot of things that separate us from the typical “accounting services” industry. Most importantly, we believe in partnering with our small business clients to give them the types of systems & processes that rule corporate America. Small business need all of the same stuff, but they do not need it the same way. This is why we offer multi-level outsourced accounting department services & not “one-off” individual services for hire. Instead of getting standalone virtual CFO, bookkeeping, or tax services, you get an accounting team that collaborates to provide those things systematically. Our calling card is empowering our clients to make data driven decision across the board, this is almost impossible without the right systems in place. Accounting & tax are a puzzle that should fit together perfectly. How could you put a puzzle together without all of the pieces?

Albert C. Hurston Jr., CPA is the owner, founder, and CEO of Right Choice Accounting Solutions. He is a married father of three who is the true definition of a family man. After gaining most of his experience working with large companies, he started Right Choice with small and medium-sized businesses in mind. Albert believes the key differences between companies that thrive and companies that struggle are the strength of their accounting and finance teams, how well they analyze their financial data, and how well they adjust based on that data. He wants to ensure that small and medium sized business owners understand this early on just like the big companies do.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
It’s honestly been our commitments to client satisfaction & being the best at what we do! When you do right by your clients, they tell everyone about how great you are.
Lead generation, marketing, and ads are definitely important in growing a business, but their is no better co-sign than a happy client referral.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
We do this with consistent communication & truly following through on one of our key principles, “Client Obsession.” Most of the people who we work with came to us from their previous accountants due to their lack of deliverables or lack of communication. We lean in to these things & let our high service level be the icing on the cake.
