We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Adrienne Falcone Godsell a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Adrienne, appreciate you joining us today. undefined
Last June, I launched the first eight-episode season of my cooking show, Healthy Meals In Minutes, which airs on the streaming app RHSTV. I retained full ownership rights and also made it available on my YouTube channel, TheFoodWhisperer813.
As a solopreneur, with my children now grown, I saw this as the perfect time to pursue my longtime dream of creating a cooking show—something I had put on hold while raising three children.
Now, using a sponsor-based model, I am actively seeking my next round of sponsors to bring Healthy Meals In Minutes back for Season 2.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As a holistic chef, meal prep specialist, and corporate wellness advocate, Adrienne Falcone Godsell has mastered the art of making Healthy Meals in Minutes. From dinner parties to cooking lessons, she takes her years of hospitality experience and transforms complex recipes into quick, delicious, and approachable meals.
Adrienne’s journey into natural foods wasn’t planned—it was a twist of fate. As a single parent looking to advance in the culinary world, she transitioned from sous chef at a steakhouse to kitchen manager at a health food café. What started as a business decision quickly turned into a passion when she saw firsthand how food could transform lives. She began crafting meals for customers with severe food allergies—dairy, egg, wheat, gluten, soy—realizing the urgent need for affordable, simple, and flavorful recipes that cater to dietary restrictions and overall well-being.
“I know how real the struggle is to eat healthy,” Adrienne shares. “Being a single parent for nine years while also caring for my aging parents made me realize how vital food is to our health, especially as we get older. And as a Sicilian who LOVES food, I knew I had to make healthy eating feel like a joy—not a chore.”
Through her company, The Food Whisperer, Adrienne empowers people to reclaim their kitchens with ease. Whether it’s through meal prep services, dinner parties, corporate wellness lunch and learns, cooking demos, masterclasses, cookbooks, or her hit cooking show, Healthy Meals in Minutes, she provides multiple ways to help people embrace healthier eating without intimidation.
Adrienne’s pride and joy, Healthy Meals in Minutes, is more than just a cooking show—it’s a movement. Each episode walks viewers through an entire meal for four, featuring a protein and two veggies (no starchy carbs), all in under 30 minutes. The real-time format ensures anyone—whether a beginner or a seasoned cook—can follow along, clean as they go, and end up with a stress-free, nutritious meal. Plus, each recipe comes with a grocery list to reduce waste and take the guesswork out of shopping.
As she gears up for Season 2, Adrienne continues to innovate and expand her reach, bringing more people into the world of simple, healthy, and delicious cooking.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I have experienced multiple pivots throughout my career, and in hindsight, I’m grateful for each one—though at the time, some were quite challenging.
One of the most significant pivots came while I was working under a doctor’s supervision as a nutritionist. I was unexpectedly served a cease and desist order for practicing as a dietitian without a license. Because I was being paid directly by patients instead of through the medical practice, I faced a substantial fine and the possibility of criminal charges. It was a shocking and overwhelming moment that forced me to reassess my path.
I immediately stopped my nutrition consultations and working with medical providers, facing a tough decision: Should I pursue becoming a licensed dietitian or continue as a personal chef?
Fortunately, I was able to appeal the citation, and since I had not knowingly or willingly violated any regulations, the charges were dropped, and the fine was reduced. However, the experience made me reflect deeply on my career direction.
Ultimately, I chose to stay in the culinary world, focusing on cooking rather than pursuing a dietitian license. Cooking had always been a second source of income, and I realized that my skills, creativity, and passion for helping people eat healthier were best served through food rather than formal nutrition consultations. My client base grew naturally, and this pivot led me to expand my business in ways I never would have imagined—including launching my cooking show, Healthy Meals in Minutes.
This experience reinforced an important lesson: Every challenge is an opportunity in disguise. It pushed me to embrace what I love most—empowering people through food—and ultimately led me to where I am today.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
While I am a solopreneur now, my experience running restaurants, managing kitchens, and creating and overseeing health food cafés has taught me that the key to managing a team and maintaining high morale is simple: treat your staff the way you want to be treated.
I never asked my team to do anything I wouldn’t do myself—including scrubbing floors, washing dishes, or tackling the toughest kitchen tasks. Leading by example fosters respect, teamwork, and a sense of shared responsibility.
Another crucial element is listening to your staff. Throughout my career, I’ve seen owners and chefs ignore valuable feedback—even when they knew it was right—often at the cost of lost revenue and, ultimately, their businesses. A workplace where ideas are dismissed breeds frustration, high turnover, and a toxic environment.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to respect and appreciation. When employees feel valued and heard, they are more motivated, engaged, and loyal. It’s the classic adage: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” A little consideration goes a long way in building a strong, committed team.
