We recently connected with Adam Iannazzo and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Adam thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
My 20 year anniversary of being a Physio is rapidly approaching this May.
I have learned more in the past 8 years than I did in graduate school and the following 12 combined.
I’m transitioning away from my profession towards a better way to help people.
I intend to disrupt the weight loss industry by starting a “Healthy at Every Weight” program and help those that are struggling the most with their by promoting slow progress outside the scale.
It’s scary as hell frankly but I want to help. I need to help people improve their quality of life through science and not just flashy marketing.
I am investing thousands of dollars in this and hundreds of hours right now and I have no idea what it will do for me income wise but if I can help people, I will get do much more.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
This new program uses metabolic testing to figure out exactly what needs to change at the cellular level to improve health.
No more guessing about health, calories, type of exercise needed and what diet to use: the testing will tell us what we need to know.
Making this program accessible for all income levels USA priority and income will be considered when pricing when needed.
We truly believe all have a right to quality healthcare regardless of your job.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
I would go back and tell my young self to stay strong in your science background.
I strayed from evidence and became a pseudoscience based physical therapist that did not help my patients more than time to heal would have.
Old fashioned therapy theory might have even hurt them.
Feel so sorry about that still but I just didn’t know.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Staying ethical and putting the patient or client first over income. Period.
