Aa’Reyona, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Above & Beyond Custom Designs started last year. It all started as just a hobby that soon transitioned into a business. It started with simply just Door Mats. And has since expanded to stovetop covers (noodle boards), aprons, apparel, and tumblers. Crafting has been therapeutic during the current uncertainty of the world. Bringing an abundance of peace and enjoyment.
Above & Beyond Custom Designs mission is to go above & beyond from the time placement of order to finish product, fulfilling customer’s visions and making it their reality through unique pieces customizable to their liking! Witnessing customer visions become a reality brings an immense amount of joy.
I have always had a creativeness that I was manifesting and afraid to unveil. Confidently, I decided to step out on faith, take the leap, and pursue my dreams. In hopes that I will inspire others to also take such a leap in their endeavors.

Aa’Reyona, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Above & Beyond Custom Designs started January 2021. The worlds state pushed me to come out of my comfort zone resulting in crafting. Products feature : door mats, stovetop covers, aprons, apparel and tumblers.
The detail of every feature of a product being customizable to customer’s preferences I feel sets Above & Beyond Custom Designs apart from others. I am most proud of my customer commentary. Witnessing customer visions become a reality brings an immense amount of joy and gratitude.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media due to consistent presence. From marketing nearly day to day, creating Tik Tok content, to content being shared amongst the public. My advice to those just starting to build their social media presence is to : 1. Be consistent
2. Be creative
3. Have different avenues of social platforms
4. Download a Visual Content Planner
5. Set time aside to create content
6. And don’t be afraid to take risk!

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
My most effective strategy for growing my clientele thus far would be my marketing and social media presence. From marketing participating local craft/vendor shows to magazine and television interviews. This strategy typically results in new clientele, followers, referrals, sales, and more.
