If you aren’t growing, you are dying, but the hardest part about growing is maintaining quality. As you hire more folks, expand to new locations, industries, etc. it becomes increasingly challenging to maintain the high quality you provided to your clients when you first started. It’s an incredibly difficult problem and so we reached out to some phenomenal entrepreneurs and asked them to share their stories, experiences and insights on the topic with us below.

As a fairly new company, quality is the #1 goal for every project that goes out the door. I’m an avid fisherman and the main reason I started this business was that I had an extremely difficult time finding a company to build well crafted aluminum components for my boat. When I did find a company that lived up to my standards; the pricing would be outrageous. I knew somewhere in the middle there was room for top quality work for a reasonable price, and so Custom Tubing Concepts was created. Everything that leaves my shop is hand built by me and if any component isn’t 100% I will immediately remove or replace it regardless of time or cost. Read more>>

I’m very thankful to say that my business is growing at a rate I didn’t expect, or plan for! I do many different kinds of photography, but most often weddings. Weddings are a lot of work, with many hours on the back end. I’ve had to adjust my work life to accommodate this. Making sure I deliver galleries in my promised turnaround time, while also preserving the quality of work I pride myself on is a constant learning experience! Read more>>

That lesson stuck with me in everything I do, from content creation to my beauty business. Read more>>

The best way I have found to maintain quality control as we grew was through focusing on simple but creative ideas for our menu. Regardless of what kind of food we are choosing to cook, I’ve chosen to keep our recipes simple and to focus on the main food that is being cooked. I will create everything from scratch, sourcing and using the best quality ingredients. Read more>>
