Tani, we loved learning your story, but I think our audience is going to appreciate learning about the product side of your story as well. So, maybe you can help bring everyone up to speed?
I am a children’s book author, and I created my publishing company, Lamb Chop Publishing LLC, in 2016. Lamb Chop Publishing’s creation was inspired by my love of traveling, storytelling and exploring this magnificent planet. I have traveled to 47 countries, six continents, and over 30 states. I desire to share some of the knowledge and adventures from my journeys to inspire others to explore the world.      Lamb Chop Publishing has published three children’s books; the third is due for release before the Holiday Season. My books help to soften the mundane delivery of historical facts and statistics. The books are helpful because they are based on locations where I have traveled and enjoyed, and my adventures are relived through pages children can enjoy.
*My first book, T Sees and Island, is set in the U.S. Virgin Islands of St. Croix and St. Thomas.
*My second book, The Princess of Sapphires and Sand, transports the main character from the Middle East to Egypt,
Europe, and North America.
*My third book, The Princess of Sapphires and Sand-The Teacher’s Edition with Common Core Alignment focuses more
on the education aspect of the second book. I have the maps depicting the locations in the book. The glossary is also
included with the Common Core Alignment.
The books were initially written for children, but adults also enjoy them.  I wanted to make learning convenient and enjoyable and provide a great read either before your vacation or while you are there.

Do you remember the moment you realized the world needed this product?
I knew the world needed more edutaining travel books when I returned from Monaco one summer, and an associate asked me how I enjoyed my trip to Africa. I love sharing knowledge and patiently explained to her that Monaco is a country in Europe and Morocco is the country in Africa to which she was referring. I quickly realized that I needed to start with the younger generation before they reached adulthood and make learning about the world around them a more pleasant experience as early as possible.        I know that geography is not a priority in the U.S. school system, and the average person is not enthusiastic about history. You can enjoy your vacation without prior knowledge of your destination, but having a little information prior makes for a better experience.
I enjoy it when I receive positive feedback from children and adults who read my books, and they tell me what they have learned and are now interested in visiting the destinations in the books. If you write it well, they will read it, enjoy it, and learn a little.

If you had to boil your product or brand down to one core message – what would that message be?
I am on a mission to make history, geography, and exploring cultures enjoyable for children and inclined adults in an increasingly shrinking world. Traveling has brought me joy and adventures. I would love to return that energy in the form of edutainment for the next generation.

What are you most thankful for?
I am most thankful for the support of my friends and family on this literary journey.  I am beyond grateful for my international travel, which led to the meeting of so many interesting people and dynamic encounters. I am thankful I have enough tenacity and dedication to complete a project once I have begun. So many obstacles could derail your projects, and having the steam to continue can be difficult.  Lastly, I am grateful for all of my talented contractors whose talents and skill sets were able to provide support where mine were lacking.
