Today we’d like to introduce you to J’Bria Iyalla

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

It came a time in life where I realized I needed to find my voice. I needed to know WHO “J’Bria” really was. Most of my childhood and young adulthood was made up of insecurities and suppressed feelings. It took breaking free of things that didn’t serve my purpose, praying, healing, and manifesting the life I wanted and deserved to get to where I am today.

When I came up on my awakening, I knew my purpose was help others get to their purpose. Help them find themselves again.

I also take joy in doing things for our underserved community. I knew my purpose went above myself. Whether it is doing blessing bags for the homeless, taking in items and clothing for those in need, or coaching and helping others find their confidence; the purpose remains the same.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

This journey definitely hasn’t been an easy one. Everything isn’t good, but it definitely isn’t all bad. In life, there will always be challenges. Life happens. Grief sneaks up. You get caught up in your own thoughts. Bills take over. Sometimes you’re left questioning, “why me?” When the statement should be, “Why not me”.
When life starts lifting, I go deeper in prayer.

As you know, we’re big fans of Luxe Eighty . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?

I am a certified life coach that specializes in confidence and intimacy. I am also an author and motivational speaker.
When I take you on as a client, you aren’t just getting a coach; you are getting an experience. I provide a space that is judgement free. Whether it’s a one on one session or a group, Self Love & Mimosas, session, you will leave with a sense of release.
During the intimacy sessions, I have a “No Shame” approach. No topic is off the table. No s*x shame nor body shame. We work on ways to be more confident with ourselves and our bodies. I show them ways to be more intune and engaged with their significant other.

I am here to help coach you in all areas. I believe in helping the person as a whole. I am their biggest cheerleader. I’m going to dance, laugh, and hold you accountable.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?

There have been many.

1. Failing is part of the process. Fall and get back up. You were given your gift for a reason. Keep going until you find what works for you.

2. Have confidence in what you’re doing.

3. Never stop learning. Perfect your craft.

4. Keep praying and speaking life into the life you desire and deserve.

5. Always stay positive.

6. Positive Thoughts=Positive Outcomes.

7. Push Past Pain.
