Oh, that’s a great question! Regarding my career, one thing stands out for sure. I had already been an Interior Designer for many years and I was attending a conference in Chicago, which featured a panel discussion of several different types of designers, each answering questions and giving industry insight. One of the panel members blatantly expressed that there was no glory in trying to live up to the pressures of designing how you THINK the world wants you to. I had wished that someone had presented that notion to me, in that particular way sooner because nothing could be more true.
