I’ve been fortunate in the several iterations of my practice to have community support from both colleagues in shared spaces and also my community at large. My greatest advice to someone thinking of going out on their own would be to plug in where you live/work. Read more>>

I started my owner practice back in 2021 and it was not easy. You never realize all the moving parts that are involved till you are in the thick of it. I started my owner practice because I wanted to control the narrative of how my practice was going to operate and run. Some of my steps getting into my practice were trial by error. Trying different ways to market, but not selling myself short with what I’m worth. The biggest steps were how am I going to get people in the door and advertise a uniqueness with what I do. Another step was also just trying to keep those people I get in the door, being different enough or providing a great service to keep people coming. Read more>>

Starting Vedic Wild Ayurveda was truly a heart project for me. I created it as a nonprofit because I firmly believe that healing should be accessible to everyone — not just those who can afford it. Through Vedic Wild, I offer clients the option to come either for free or at half price, depending on their financial situation. Right now, I am able to support 2–3 clients a month in this way, funded by my full-paying clients. I also make herbal medicine available at very affordable prices, because plants and healing should belong to everyone. Read more>>

My mentor once said, “Listen to what others are saying about you. If multiple people are saying the same thing, pay attention.” When someone would tell me that they saw me as an entrepreneur, I wouldn’t believe them. Even though I dreamt of starting my own physical therapy practice, I couldn’t see what they saw in me. For a long time, I had so many voices in my head telling me why I shouldn’t do it. “You don’t know how to start a business.” “You don’t have enough experience.” “Now isn’t a good time. I’ll do it when…” After becoming a mom, I really needed to reflect on who I was and what my purpose is. Read more>>

My decision to start my own practice evolved slowly. I first studied Reiki mostly because I was interested in energy healing, but still skeptical. I attended training to find out “once and for all” if it was legit. Training made it real for me, so I completed my certification over the course of a few years, practicing with other students in between. Read more>>

In the summer of 2020 I was looking to expand my business. I was searching for reputable Turkish manufacturers that could build rides to European and American standards. I came across Levant Lunapark Rides located in Ankara Turkey. I reached out to them and propose that I become their United States representative. They were thrilled with the idea and agreed to have ne sell their rides in the States. A few months later, I had my first sale with Cotaland in Texas. They purchased a wacky worm and a mini log flume. Ever since then business has been growing steadily and we are now up to 10 rides currently in America or coming to America soon. Read more>>
