Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Wight
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Second-generation Mexican-American. Female business owner. Mother of four. Michelle’s background has been a direct influence over her dream of creating a welcoming and inclusive space in the hair and makeup industry.
That dream has manifested into a world of approachable elegance — a world where everyone is invited. Michelle and her team purposefully do not have a signature look that they create, because beauty is simply not meant to be one-size-fits all. Today, her team and client base continue to expand as she gains recognition in the industry.
Outside of the artistry, Michelle enjoys spending time with her big family, Pure Barre, and getting wrapped up in podcasts — her favorites are a healthy mix of business and Bravo.
Michelle Wight Makeup Artistry is a true reflection of Michelle’s values, and she couldn’t be happier for it to be such a monumental part of her beautifully busy life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey was anything but linear, there seemed to be obstacle after obstacle from non believers who didn’t think makeup artistry would sustain the life of a single mother of two. To having to learn how to run a business if I wanted to truly persue makeup full time, and raise four kids while figuring all of this out.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
if your not willing to take risk, whats the point in building a business. That may be a bold statement but we need a community of risk takers, community builders, people with vision thats how you elevate an industry
