Today we’d like to introduce you to E’moni Tool-lammie

Hi E’moni, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

My mother taught me to cook at a young age but I think I really got into wanting to become a chef when I was hired as a cook at Waffle House in Atlanta. I loved making people smile and putting my all into the food as well as the service I would give to customers. As time went on I just got more and more into wanting to become a chef ; I started making big dinners for my family and friends then catering small events. I started making my own seasoning and sauces in 2019 and my baking business in 2021. I am still very much small but I love what I do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

It has not at all. In the beginning things seemed to move smoothly with my catering and weekly meals but once I moved to a new town I began to see the decline in my services as well as my website/Facebook page being spammed a lot.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I am currently a Teachers Aide and I love it. I love being able to help the kids in the classroom with their work and form a special bond with them as another person in the room that is assisting with teaching them. I am known for being the funny teacher with snacks lol. I think what sets me apart from others might be that I treat the kids the same way I would want my own kids to be treated when they are in class ; also show them that I will be there whenever they need someone to talk to and always want to see them smile as well as be successful in everything they do.
