We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Armonti Samuel and Briana Owens. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Armonti/ Briana below.
Hi Armonti/ Briana, thanks for joining us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
Who our parents are have a strong impact on us and our business. A big reason we continue to push further and further is because of the work ethic and hustle that they instilled in us. They taught us that we can have whatever life we want we just have to work for it. They are the reason we believe in what we do.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We started screen printing for people out of our garage in 2019. Soon after Armonti and I both got fired from our jobs. We decided to do our business full time. After a lot of consistency, failures, and improvements people began putting orders in. We were able to expand into embroidery, htv, rug tufting, web design, decals, and so much more. We moved out of the garage and into a warehouse in 2021. It is challenging to grow and make mistakes being a business owner, but it is worth every growing pain because of the freedom we have. We are most proud of our 1 year old son Santana, he allowed us to see things clearer and seeing his interest in what we do so young is amazing. Without the clients we have we wouldn’t be where we are today, we love every single experience we have with them. They inspire us, and without them there would be no lab5. When you think of money as an obstacle or a problem for accomplishing your dreams that’s all it will ever be. When you do things with pure intent from your heart, God will never let you fail.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I think it’s important to know that social media following, likes, or shares does not equate to success. A lot of people may get discouraged comparing themselves to businesses with large followings but it all means nothing if thats all you have. Of course it has huge advantages, but focus on your craft and provide people with undeniable services and products, then everything else will come. Let your work do the talking, but never get caught up in what you are perceived as based on your social media presence.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Creating authentic connections with people is what’s helps us grow. We are in the business of helping other people build their business, when they succeed we succeed.
