We were lucky to catch up with Vintage V recently and have shared our conversation below.

Vintage , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

I’ve always looked at projects as a way to tell a story and to make them relatable and meaningful. Doing this through music which is a form of storytelling is no different.

I’m currently working on my very first EP, entitled “17 Sky’s in 8 Nights”. This project is very personal to me. It’s a ways for me to tell stories about love, happiness, heartbreak, healing and manifesting who I am becoming. Being that I am so private, this project gives the people who support me the ability to see into my life just a bit. I also hope that it gives people strength, courage and the tenacity that they may need to be the best versions of themselves.

Vintage , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

For those who may be new to me, I’m a singer/songwriter and an online boutique owner of a company called “Saturdays Oxygen”. I’ve been a singer since I was 3 years old. I always knew I wanted to sing.

When discussing the question that I was asked “ what problem do you solve for your clients,,” I like to think that I solve several.

As a musician it is my job to connect with my audience through my voice, lyrics and songs. To provide happiness, healing, relatability, fun and to bring awareness to themselves and what they may need in that moment. To provide hope, a sense of peace and tranquility.

Within my online boutique, I provide home goods and everything comfort from plant hangers, to yoga sets, to nebulizers that provide healing in a natural form utilizing essential oils. I make candles and herbal blends that are also very healing to the mind body and soul.

I am most proud of my growth that I have seen within myself over the last three years. I’ve completely transformed into a new version of myself. I’ve grown as a singer and songwriter and artist. I’ve become more comfortable letting my audience know that I love herbalism and natural healing as a herbalist. Im so proud of my ability to be resilient and continue to grow within myself. I want my supporters to know that it is ok to be yourself in every aspect that there is!! Love you and always be who you are at your core.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and a creative so that I get to express myself in so many ways. I work in the corporate arena and I see how often people put on mask to be someone that they aren’t and I’ feel sorry for them.

Being an artist means freedom. Freedom to express myself in the way that I dress, the way that I write, the way that I wear my hair and the way that I exist. I can wake up in the morning and have an idea about shooting a cinematic film for one of my songs that that includes wearing one sock, two turtleneck shirts and a helmet and I can just do it! Lol! I don’t have to worry about what my job will say or what anyone else thinks because as a creative this is my imagination. It’s my gifts and visions.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I built my audience on social media by posting videos of myself singing or behind the scenes videos of projects that I was working on and just interacting with people on social media.

Being able to relate to others is something that I’ve always had the ability to do. People feel comfortable with me and they often gravitate to me for one reason or another. I love the ability to relate to my audience.
