Alright, Lucretia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
Looking back, I would have never fathomed being a purpose and relationship coach.Upon reflection, I have come to realize that my life and professional experiences have uniquely equipped me to be the perfect fit for this role. I started CreSpeaks Life, LLC. in the midst of evolving. As a new mom and wife, I knew there was a push for me to empower people to press forward in the purpose. I didn’t know how. As a former educator, my love for speaking fueled my passion to empower audiences to grow in purpose and calling for their lives.
Along with being a speaker, I began facilitating personal and professional development classes for adult learners. As I facilitated classes for adult learners , I witnessed the profound impact I had on individuals seeking growth and fulfillment. Little did I know that this experience would ignite a passion within me, ultimately leading me to embrace the role of a purpose and relationship coach.
Through my experience in facilitating these classes, I discovered a recurring theme among the individuals I interacted with. It became evident that they were not only seeking personal growth but also guidance in navigating their relationships and finding their true purpose. Recognizing this need, I embarked on a new path, transitioning from a facilitator to a purpose and relationship coach. This shift allowed me to provide a more personalized and transformative experience for audiences and future clients.
As I embraced transparency about my own journey, a remarkable revelation unfolded: I began to see how each element of my personal experiences could seamlessly integrate into my speaking and teaching endeavors, enriching my business in profound ways.
This was only the beginning.
Navigating the challenge of influencing diverse audiences comprising wives, moms, and single women while centering my content around purpose proved to be an overwhelming task. After at least 2-3 years of coaching, speaking, and leading groups, I needed to tailor to an audience that spoke to me the strongest. My singleness is where I launched my purpose and sought to cultivate relationships and date with intention. My story matched many that were experiencing everything I’ve been through. I found myself called to reach women broken, frustrated, hurting, seeking healing, reaching for purpose, and also yearning to invite a man they sought. After gaining more clarity, I now teach single Christian women how to date with confidence and cultivate relationships that lead to lasting love and commitment.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Meeting my husband online has always made my journey to marriage a unique story to tell. We met on a dating site most would be surprised to hear a success story come from. Meeting my husband online has not only transformed my perception of online dating but has also empowered me to embrace the unique journey that led to my marriage. Before meeting my husband, I struggled with the fear of rejection and feared being vulnerable. I didn’t want to lose myself because I worked very hard to be the woman I became at that time in my life. I didn’t know how to date, I failed at knowing the right questions to ask and I lacked boundaries. As I started dating more, and having consistent conversations with God, I gained a fresh perspective, redefined my desires, and nurtured a deeper understanding of myself. A little over a year of dating, we were engaged and six months later we were married.
During the early years of marriage, I would often post photos of my husband and I to share our dating journey, purity journey, and the role God played in our lives. I did this not to brag, but to uplift single women on the verge of giving up on dating and marriage because of how tough the dating scene is. Many Christian women were struggling with dating and as I became comfortable with the story, I felt led to share. By sharing my story online to everyone, my hope was to inspire others to approach their own single journeys with openness.
This journey of transparency opened the door to single women near and far reaching out to me asking questions related to navigating difficult relationships, dating online, and knowing if the guy was worth continuing a relationship with. I would spend lots of time pouring my heart, coaching, and helping women make mindful decisions about their relationships.
So this sparked an idea to write a book that would help answer questions that I most often answer. After polling my audience, women commented saying preparing marriage would be a great resource, but having resources focused on building a relationship with themselves would be much better. I then began putting a pen to paper to share my single journey. During the process of crafting chapters for the book, it organically transformed into a powerful seven-day devotional, titled “Before the Husband: A Seven-Day Devotional for Single Women Pursuing Purpose.” With the intention of offering insights gained from seven significant conversations I had with myself and God during my season of singleness, my aim was to share the transformative growth I experienced before encountering my future husband.
As numerous women found encouragement and inspiration through my book, a demand arose for them to embark on their journey from dating to marriage with my guidance and support. I designed a 12-week, Before the Husband Journey coaching program taking my clients on a transformative journey specifically designed for Christian single women. Before the Husband Journey will shift mindsets, empowering them to navigate the world of dating with confidence and grace. As we progress, we will focus on building your dating confidence, equipping women with the tools and strategies to approach potential partners with authenticity and clarity. Additionally, we will explore the qualities and traits that contribute to a successful partnership, nurturing your growth as a potential wife. Together, we will cultivate a holistic transformation that will empower you to embrace your journey, embrace yourself, and ultimately find a loving and fulfilling relationship rooted in your faith.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Melissa and Kevin Fredericks, better known as MrsKevonstage and her husband Kevonstage have been an incredible resource that has greatly impacted the entrepreneurship journey for my husband and I . Through their social media presence and the production of their podcast, “The Love Hour,” they have offered invaluable marriage insights in a relatable manner, combining candor, humor, and wisdom. In addition, they were incredible resources during our dating and engagement period of our relationship. Witnessing their ability to navigate discussions around singleness and marriage with authenticity and grace inspired me to tailor my own passion with a focus on purpose and relationships. When The Love Hour ended, we saw this as an opportunity to embark on our own podcast, “When Marriage and Purpose Collide,” where we aim to provide insights and guidance on love, relationships, and preparing for marriage. This platform has allowed us to support and empower singles, newlyweds, and seasoned couples in cultivating healthy relationships and aligning their lives with purpose. I am grateful for the inspiration and example set by MrsKevonstage’s success story, and I aspire to follow a similar path of growth, resilience, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. I admired her resilience and determination as she blossomed over time, transitioning from a more timid presence behind the scenes to becoming a sought-after speaker, participating in panels, and garnering recognition within her industry.
From their relatable and insightful podcast to MrsKevonstage’s personal journey of growth and blossoming, they have provided me with valuable lessons and inspiration. Their story serves as a reminder that with dedication, authenticity, and a focus on purpose, it is possible to create a successful business that positively impacts others. We admire their success and hope to embark on a similar path, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we reach.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Despite the inevitable ups and downs that come with any relationship, my husband and I made a commitment to weather the storms together and grow stronger as a couple. When we were engaged to be married, we went through premarital counseling. From the conversations we held, we developed a process to help us stay intentional, foster vulnerability and communicate effectively. Our check-ins are a heartfelt practice where we come together, delving into discussions on relationship dynamics, finances, intimacy, spiritual growth, and more, all with the intention of gauging the current state of these areas. Throughout these conversations, we not only provide support but also offer affirmations statements to one another.
In the early years of our marriage, we faced challenges that tested our bond and required us to dig deep into our reservoir of resilience. We encountered external pressures, career changes, and personal hardships that could have easily pulled us apart. However, we refused to let these challenges define us or erode the love we shared.
Instead, we used these moments as opportunities to check in with each other, reevaluate our priorities, and strengthen our connection. Resilience taught us the importance of adaptability and open communication. It allowed us to embrace vulnerability and face our struggles head-on, knowing that we were in it together.
During these moments, we created a safe space where we could openly share our fears, concerns, hopes for the future, and pray together. Today, we continue to prioritize these check-in moments as a way to stay connected and nurture our marriage. Resilience remains at the core of our relationship, serving as a reminder of our unwavering commitment to each other and our shared future.
As we shared our check-in process with other couples, they were intrigued. We created a resource for couples, The Check-In: Communication Game Changer. A great resource for the couple that wants to start off intentionally while dating or engaged or the newlywed seeking a way to upgrade their communication within their relationship. We then realized that we could do even more and dive into conversations about dating, relationships and the ups and downs of married life . Hence, the launch of our podcast, When Marriage and Purpose Collide in January of 2022. As relationship coaches, our mission is to encourage and uplift singles, equipping them with invaluable insights, practical tips, and heartfelt guidance. Through engaging discussions, expert interviews, and personal anecdotes, we explore topics ranging from navigating the world of dating to fostering personal growth and creating a strong foundation for lifelong partnership. These resources are essential to those that desire healthy dating relationships that lead to marriage.
