Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Latara Johnson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Latara, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

My parents raised me to always respect myself as well as others and treat others as i want to be treated. So with having my business i always treat my customers with respect and give them the best outcome of whatever services they request. My mom always was a hard worker whom i look up to and value so much. She taught me to never give up even when times are hard. Always persevere and let God lead me. She always fed the neighborhood and took pride in her food as a cook of 30 plus years. Presentation was always important to her no matter where she was cooking. It catches the eye of the customer before anything else. She taught me that the presentation attracts the customer and the taste and customer service keeps them coming back. She was so right!!!!! As far as my interior decorating she has always been that person to go over and beyond. She taught me that everyone’s vision is different wether its simple or over the top. Listen to their wants and needs and deliver it to the best of your ability. I truly believe i was “Created to Kreate.”

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am La Tara Johnson owner and founder of Endless Kreationz in Arlington, Texas. I provide custom treats as well as interior decorating. I knew from a very young age that i was creative. I competed and won several art competitions and thats when i knew i was “Created To Kreate.” I loved all forms of art from painting, sculpting, and decorating any and everything. I offer all treats from custom cakes to dipped apples. With the interior decorating side of my Endless Kreationz business i provide all decorating services wether its small or big spaces. I aim to bring the clients vision to life. What sets me apart from other custom treat makers is my passion. I can do my job without pay and still love it with every ounce of my soul. I provide the best quality products available and i take my time to perfect every single detail. With my interior decorating i provide my input as a professional but i always put the clients wants and needs first. For example if they have a blue chair that is sentimental to them and they do not want to take it out of the room being decorated, I as a professional have to incorporate the chair into the color scheme. I aim to please. I am most proud of myself for going after my dreams and not quitting. My passion for my work does not allow me to quit. My only goal is to be better than i was yesterday so i can continue to provide the best services possible to my clients. I want my potential clients to know that i take pride in creating whatever vision they bring to me wether its customer treats or interior decorating to the BEST of my ability.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My mission is to leave a legacy for my son. He has a very creative side as well. I hope and pray that he can take over my business and keep it going for years to come. Even if its not his passion in life i foresee him hiring the best candidates that will provide excellent service and quality work for my existing and potential clients in the future. I want Endless Kreationz to be known world wide and last a lifetime.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

I wish i knew about more social media marketing. It really helped me a lot in reaching new people and getting my name out there.
