Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eric Morley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Eric thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Being open to learn and appreciating your audience. As much as Im confident in my ability as a photographer and freelancer I can always grow and learn new business practices to better myself. Always be thankful for every supporter that comes your way because thats the basis of starting a business from 1 follower to a 1000 always appreciate the appreciation.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Im a photographer I like to shoot anything from portraits and landscapes to drone work, but landscapes are what Im really passionate about. Since I was a kid growing up in Philadelphia I loved watching natgeo and other documentaries but theres no where to go like that in the city. When I moved to California I picked up camping as a hobby and eventually was gifted a film camera from a friend which kicked off my photography journey.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Always be you and the audience will come. Dont get caught up with likes and post often. Take the time to differentiate when youre posting for likes and posting something that actually speaks to you as a creator. Do it for yourself first and everything else will fall in line.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Networking. Dont be afraid to reach out to possible clients or even someone that can help you progress. Putting yourself out there can be hard but the more people that are aware of you and your services the more likely you are to pick up traction.
