We were lucky to catch up with Molly recently and have shared our conversation below.
Molly, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
In 2018, I hit a breaking point with my own health. At that point, I had already spent five years working in the fitness industry. I had the education, certifications, and experience to help clients build muscle, lose body fat, and improve their health. From the outside, I looked like someone who should have had it all figured out. But behind the scenes, I was struggling. I was gaining weight despite exercising regularly and eating what most people would consider an extremely healthy diet. I dealt with bloating every night, insomnia, anxiety, and a constant feeling that something was off. No matter how hard I worked or how disciplined I was, I couldn’t seem to get control over my own body.
Then I suffered a concussion in a hiking accident. And at the time, it felt like rock bottom. Not only was I dealing with all of my existing symptoms, but now I was facing a long recovery process that forced me to completely change my lifestyle.
For the first time, I had no choice but to slow down.
I reduced my workload, prioritized recovery, increased my calorie intake to support healing, and swapped my intense workouts for shorter, low-impact movement. Instead of constantly pushing harder, I focused on giving my body what it needed. And something unexpected happened. The bloating disappeared. I started sleeping through the night. My anxiety improved. My body composition changed. Many of the symptoms I had been battling for years began to resolve.
That experience completely changed the trajectory of my career.
It was the first time I truly understood how much stress impacts the body. I became fascinated by the connection between chronic stress, hormones, blood sugar regulation, metabolism, recovery, and overall health. I started studying these topics extensively, trying to understand why doing less had produced better results than all the years I had spent trying to do more.
What I discovered was that many women aren’t struggling because they lack discipline. They’re struggling because their bodies are overwhelmed. When stress is constantly elevated, it affects everything from sleep and energy to hunger, cravings, recovery, and hormone balance.
That realization transformed the way I coach.
Prior to that experience, my work focused primarily on fitness, nutrition, and body composition. Today, I take a much more holistic approach. I help women understand the root causes of what they’re experiencing. We focus on stress, sleep, recovery, hormones, lifestyle habits, and sustainable movement patterns alongside nutrition and exercise.
Looking back, what felt like one of the hardest moments of my life became one of the most important. My concussion forced me to slow down long enough to realize that health isn’t created by constantly pushing harder. Sometimes the real breakthrough comes from understanding what your body is trying to tell you and giving it the support it needs to heal.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up competing in gymnastics and dance. And my family was obsessed with sports. So being active was simply part of everyday life. In my early teens, I went through a year of physical therapy for an ankle injury, which sparked my interest in corrective exercise and helping the body perform at its best. Looking back, that year was probably the first step toward the career I have today.
It felt natural for me to transition into the fitness industry at 21, and I’ve been coaching for over 13 years now. Over that time, my career has evolved a lot. I started out primarily helping people with fitness and exercise, but my work has expanded to include hormone health, stress management, and sustainable lifestyle habits.
Today, I work with clients online through both my membership community and private coaching programs. Women all over the world use my membership. It includes low-impact strength and mobility workouts, as well as challenges, workshops, and community support. And then I get to work with clients one-on-one in my private coaching programs. I get to dig deeper with those clients and help them navigate issues like stress, hormone imbalances, stubborn weight loss, low energy, poor sleep, and feeling disconnected from their bodies.
What I’m most proud of is creating an approach that helps women stop feeling like they need to fight their bodies to see results. My goal is to help women feel stronger, healthier, and more confident by working with their bodies rather than against them.

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
I would absolutely choose this profession again without hesitation. The only thing I would change is that I would have found my way to hormone health sooner. While fitness and nutrition are important, I’ve learned that many women need support beyond workouts and meal plans. Understanding the connection between stress, hormones, and overall health has allowed me to create much more meaningful and lasting results for both myself and my clients.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Beyond training and knowledge, I think people skills are one of the most important factors for success in this field. Coaching isn’t just about understanding exercise, nutrition, or hormones… it’s about understanding people. Every client comes with different experiences, challenges, motivations, and fears. The more I’ve grown as a coach, the more I’ve realized that listening, building trust, and meeting people where they are often matters just as much as having the right technical knowledge. People are far more likely to succeed when they feel understood and supported.
