We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Juni Lynch. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Juni below.
Hi Juni, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Starting Juniper Grove Creative was one of the biggest risks I’ve taken. At the time, I was balancing a full-time role and questioning whether I was “ready” to build something of my own. There was a lot of doubt, imposter syndrome, financial uncertainty, and the very real fear of putting myself out there and failing publicly.
But I reached a point where not trying felt like a bigger risk than starting.
I began small. Taking on a few clients, helping local businesses and nonprofits with branding, websites, and social media. What I didn’t expect was how quickly it would grow into something more meaningful. It wasn’t just about delivering services; it became about building relationships, supporting people’s passions, and creating something that genuinely helps my community thrive.
There were challenges along the way. I had to learn how to price my work, manage time, figuring out systems as I went but each step built confidence. Instead of waiting until I felt “ready,” I learned by doing.
Looking back, that risk changed how I see myself. It proved that I’m capable of creating opportunities, not just waiting for them. Today, Juniper Grove Creative continues to grow, and more importantly, it’s built on a foundation of trust, community, and purpose.

Juni, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I didn’t originally set out to start a business. The idea took shape after helping a friend who had recently purchased a business with no online presence. After building his website and seeing firsthand how it supported his growth, I realized the impact strong digital foundations can have.
That experience sparked something bigger. I saw a common gap, many small business owners simply don’t have the time or expertise to manage website updates, user experience, and digital visibility. That is when I started Juniper Grove Creative to help bridge that gap. JGC allows business owners to focus on what they do best while I ensure they’re reaching the right audience online.
My work centers on simplifying the digital side of business. Removing stress, saving time, and creating a more seamless experience for both my clients and their customers and making sure my clients online presence is something they are proud.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
What started as a side project quickly grew into something more. After helping a friend build a website and seeing the impact it had on his business, I began taking on a few clients on the side. From there, it grew through word of mouth and referrals.
Some key milestones were landing my first paying client, building consistent monthly work, and eventually realizing there was enough demand to treat it as a real business not just a side hustle. It’s still growing, but each step has been about building trust and delivering results.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Without a doubt, word of mouth. Most of my clients come from referrals or people who have seen my work through someone they trust.
Working with local businesses and nonprofits has also helped build strong relationships, which naturally leads to more opportunities. It’s been very community-driven, which I love.
