We were lucky to catch up with Izabela Bos recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Izabela , thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
One of the most meaningful risks I’ve taken was stepping into entrepreneurship and launching my brand, ThatDigitalBelle.
At the time, I was already deeply involved in strategy, content, and organizational initiatives. On paper, it didn’t necessarily make sense to take on more. But I felt a strong pull to create something that was fully my own, a space where I could express my creativity more freely, build direct connections with a community, and explore storytelling beyond the structure of my day-to-day.
The risk wasn’t just about time, it was about putting myself out there in a more personal and visible way. I had to overcome the fear of judgment, the uncertainty of whether it would resonate, and the challenge of balancing it alongside a fast-paced life. There were moments where I questioned if I was stretching myself too thin or if it would truly be worth it.
But I leaned into it anyway.
I started small—testing content, learning what felt authentic to me, and building gradually. Over time, ThatDigitalBelle became more than just a creative outlet. It turned into a community that allowed me to connect with others in a more genuine way, collaborate with different audiences, and expand my skill set as both a strategist and a creator.
Looking back, that risk paid off not just in opportunities, but in confidence. It reinforced that I don’t have to fit into one box, I can build, lead, and create in multiple spaces at once. It also taught me that growth often comes from stepping into the unknown before you feel fully ready.
If there’s one thing I took away from that experience, it’s that the risks that feel personal are often the ones that shape you the most.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I’m a digital strategist, storyteller, and entrepreneur with a passion for building meaningful connections between brands and the communities they serve. Over time, I’ve expanded my scope beyond just content, playing a key role in brand reputation, communications, and enterprise-wide campaigns, while still staying hands-on in the day-to-day execution.
I got into this field by naturally blending my interests in business, marketing, and human connection. With a background in International Marketing, and later earning my Master’s in Applied Business Analytics, I developed both the creative and analytical sides of my skill set early on. I’ve always been drawn to understanding people, what resonates with them, what builds trust, and how to communicate in a way that feels both strategic and authentic. That curiosity ultimately led me into digital marketing and social media, where I saw the opportunity to not just promote brands, but to tell stories that actually matter.
In terms of what I provide, my work centers around digital strategy, content creation, brand storytelling, analytics, and community engagement. I help organizations translate complex ideas into content that is accessible, engaging, and impactful. Whether it’s building campaigns, leading influencer and community partnerships, or navigating high-pressure crisis situations, I focus on creating work that is both thoughtful and results-driven.
At the core of my brand and my work is purpose. My faith plays a big role in that, it grounds me, guides my decisions, and reminds me to lead with integrity and intention. Everything I create through ThatDigitalBelle, is rooted in a desire to give back, build real relationships, and make a positive impact.
What I want people to know is this: I’m not just here to create content, I’m here to create connection. Whether you’re a brand, a partner, or someone engaging with my work, my goal is for you to feel seen, informed, and inspired.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been building trust and consistently showing up within my community. More than any single campaign or tactic, it’s the relationships I’ve built, both professionally and personally, that have driven the most meaningful growth.
I’ve always taken a relationship-first approach, focusing on genuine networking rather than transactional interactions. By staying engaged with my community, supporting others, and creating real connections over time, I’ve been able to build a strong foundation of trust. That trust naturally leads to referrals, collaborations, and long-term partnerships, which have been far more impactful than any short-term growth strategy.
Another key piece has been consistency. Consistently delivering value, sharing insights, and producing work that reflects both quality and authenticity. My advice for others is to invest in your relationships early and often. Show up, be authentic, and focus on how you can provide value to others. When people trust you and believe in your work, growth becomes a natural byproduct.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
One of the most important things I’ve learned about managing a team and maintaining high morale is that leadership starts with genuine care. At the end of the day, people don’t just want to feel managed, they want to feel seen, supported, and valued as individuals.
I always try to lead with empathy and connection, recognizing that everyone is navigating something in their personal or professional lives that may not always be visible. Creating a space where people feel safe, heard, and understood goes a long way in building trust and strengthening a team.
I also believe strongly in uplifting rather than battling. It’s easy for environments to become tense or overly critical, especially in high-pressure settings, but the most effective teams are the ones that support each other, celebrate wins (big or small). Encouragement, recognition, and open communication can shift the entire dynamic of a team.
Practically, that means checking in regularly, not just on work, but on people. It means being approachable, offering support when it’s needed, and creating opportunities for growth and development. When your team feels genuinely cared for and connected, morale strengthens naturally and so does performance.
