We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chauntina Clark a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Chauntina, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project I’ve worked on is hosting and leading four conferences over the past three years. What makes this especially significant is that none of it started with a large platform, big funding, or a massive team. It started with a burden. I felt God placing it on my heart to create a space where people could encounter Him in a real and personal way , not performative, not pressured, but free.
The first conference came together with limited resources and a lot of faith. I remember questioning whether anyone would even show up. But the heart behind it was simple: create an atmosphere where people could worship freely and be authentically themselves before God. I didn’t want an event built on hype; I wanted a space marked by the presence of Jesus.
Over time, what began as one gathering turned into four conferences in three years. Each one has grown, not just in attendance, but in depth. Every conference carries its own story, its own challenges, and its own testimonies. I’ve watched people walk in carrying anxiety, shame, confusion, or spiritual dryness and leave with renewed faith, clarity, and freedom. I’ve heard testimonies of reconciliation, healing, surrender, and fresh commitment to Christ. There have been moments during worship and prayer where it was undeniable that God was moving in ways no human planning could manufacture.
That’s why this project is so meaningful to me. It’s not about the production or logistics, though those take a lot of work. It’s meaningful because I’ve seen firsthand that God allows me to cultivate spaces where He meets people. I get to watch Him transform hearts in real time. There is something incredibly humbling about preparing for months, coordinating details, handling stress behind the scenes and then seeing Jesus do what only He can do.
Each conference reminds me that obedience matters more than perfection. There were moments I felt underqualified, stretched thin, or unsure if I could carry the responsibility again. But every time, God proves faithful. He provides the team, the resources, the strength, and most importantly, His presence. Looking back at four conferences in three years, I don’t just see events… I see lives impacted, community formed, and testimonies that only Jesus could facilitate. For that, I am forever grateful.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For those who may not know me yet, I’m someone deeply passionate about faith, leadership, and creating spaces where people can encounter God in a real and transformative way. But none of this started as a “brand” or business plan. It started with heartbreak, obedience, and an encounter with Jesus.
After going through a breakup that completely shifted my life, I found myself in a season of deep reflection and surrender. In that vulnerable place, I had a personal encounter with Jesus that changed everything for me. What felt like loss became awakening. During that season, I felt God prompting me to use my voice, even when I didn’t feel ready. Out of obedience, I started my podcast, #TalkswithTina. It wasn’t polished or strategic. It was simply me sharing what God was teaching me in real time.
That podcast became the foundation for everything that followed. Through #TalkswithTina, I began having honest conversations about faith, healing, identity, and walking with Christ in everyday life. People started reaching out saying they had “never heard it explained that way before.” That affirmation wasn’t about me, it showed me that clarity and authenticity matter. From there, the vision expanded beyond digital conversations into physical spaces.
That’s how the conferences began. Over the past three years, I’ve hosted four conferences — each one birthed from prayer and obedience. My heart has always been to cultivate environments where people can worship freely and be authentically themselves before God. No pressure. No performance. Just space for Jesus to move. What makes these gatherings meaningful is not the production or growth, it’s the testimonies. I’ve watched people surrender their lives to Christ, experience healing, reconcile relationships, and rediscover purpose. Those are things only Jesus can facilitate.
What I provide now includes hosting faith-centered conferences, leading worship experiences, mentoring, speaking, and creating intentional spaces for spiritual growth. At the core, I help bridge the gap for people who feel disconnected from God, confused about faith, or unsure how to build a personal relationship with Him. I present the gospel clearly and practically, helping people see that Christianity is not about performance but relationship.
What sets me apart is authenticity. I lead from lived experience. I’m not interested in hype or surface-level inspiration. I care about depth, integrity, and the presence of God being tangible. My journey wasn’t built from perfection, it was built from surrender. That transparency resonates with people.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the numbers or milestones , it’s truly obedience. Every conference, every episode, every conversation traces back to a moment where I simply said yes to God. And He has continued to exceed what I could have imagined.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and my brand, it’s this: everything is rooted in pointing people back to Jesus. This started with a breakup, a surrender, and an encounter… and it continues because I believe God still transforms lives. I’m just grateful He allows me to help cultivate the space.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
One thing I think non-creatives may struggle to understand about my journey is that creativity, for me, is deeply spiritual and deeply vulnerable. It’s not just about producing events or content; it’s about obedience. Every podcast episode, every conference, every space I create usually comes from prayer, wrestling, and stepping out before I feel fully ready.
People often see the final product, but they don’t see the internal stretching that comes before it. When you carry vision — especially faith-based vision, you often see something long before it exists. That in-between space requires trust, patience, and resilience. It can feel heavy at times because you’re building while believing.
I also think it’s important to understand that what creatives build is personal. My conferences and #TalkswithTina aren’t just projects… they’re rooted in my testimony, surrender, and growth. So when God moves in those spaces, it’s humbling. And when things feel slow or unseen, it requires even deeper faith.
At the core, my creative journey started with obedience, not strategy. And that’s something I hope people understand, for many of us, creativity isn’t about attention. It’s about stewardship.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes! My creative journey is driven by one clear mission: to create spaces where people can encounter Jesus in a real, personal, and transformative way.
Everything I build, from #TalkswithTina to the conferences, flows from that purpose. I’m not driven by numbers, trends, or visibility. I’m driven by obedience and impact. If someone walks away with a clearer understanding of the gospel, feels free to worship without pressure, or begins a genuine relationship with Christ, then the mission is being fulfilled.
At the heart of it, I want to bridge the gap between tradition and relationship. Many people have heard about God, grown up around church, or formed opinions about Christianity, but they’ve never experienced a personal encounter with Jesus. My goal is to communicate truth in a way that’s clear, authentic, and accessible.
I also feel called to model transparency in leadership. I don’t want to create environments that feel performative or exclusive. I want people to know they can come as they are, wrestle with real questions, and still experience God’s presence.
Ultimately, my mission is simple: obedience to God, clarity in the gospel, and creating room for transformation. If my creativity consistently points people back to Jesus, then I know I’m walking in purpose.
