We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Krishna Patel. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Krishna below.
Alright, Krishna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Revival Coffee was born during a pivotal moment in both of our lives. After reconnecting in September 2023 following the birth of Dhruvi’s son, we both realized we were feeling stagnant and unfulfilled. We wanted something that gave us purpose, something we could pour our energy into and feel proud of every day.
For Dhruvi, becoming a new mom sparked the desire to build something meaningful while still being present for her child. For me, it was about finally pursuing something I was deeply passionate about. Instead of staying stuck, we decided to take control of our circumstances and create the life we wanted.
Over the next year, we worked relentlessly to turn that vision into reality — planning, saving, building, and executing every detail ourselves. The name “Revival” felt deeply personal. Coffee revives people each morning, but this business revived us. It marked a turning point — proof that taking a leap of faith could completely change the trajectory of our lives.
We weren’t trying to reinvent coffee; we were trying to create something heartfelt, high-quality, and community-driven. What excited us most was the idea of building a business rooted in purpose, connection, and fulfillment — not just profit. Today, Revival Coffee represents that transformation: two people who felt stuck choosing to start over and build something beautiful from the ground up.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m Krishna Patel, co-founder of Revival Coffee, a mobile coffee business I started with my friend Dhruvi in October 2024.
We provide high-quality specialty coffee that is roasted locally, tea, and pastries through a fully mobile trailer and cart setup, which allows us to serve both private events and public locations indoors or outdoors. We cater weddings, corporate events, schools, community gatherings, and more. One of the biggest problems we solve for clients is convenience paired with a premium experience — we bring a full café directly to them, eliminating the need for guests to leave an event while still offering drinks that rival a brick-and-mortar coffee shop.
What truly sets us apart is our commitment to quality, intentional sourcing, and community support. We test everything extensively before offering it, focusing on cleaner, less artificial options whenever possible. We proudly partner with local Savannah businesses for pastries and tea, and we source our coffee from a single-origin Brazilian roast produced by a women-owned, family-run farm that is roasted locally by Origin Coffee. Supporting other small businesses is a core part of who we are.
We’re most proud of building Revival Coffee from the ground up despite significant challenges — from major vehicle repairs early on to the difficulties of securing affordable locations. Every obstacle strengthened our resilience and confirmed that we were on the right path. Today, we’re not just operating — we’re thriving and growing a loyal community around our brand. After all the ups and downs, we are permanently based in Starland District at 115 W 42nd St. in downtown Savannah.
More than anything, we want people to know that Revival Coffee is about connection, authenticity, and care. We don’t just want to serve drinks; we want to create experiences that make people feel welcomed, energized, and valued. This business represents courage, transformation, and the power of choosing to change your life instead of settling. If there’s one thing we hope clients and supporters take away, it’s that Revival Coffee was built with heart — and every cup reflects that.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing our clientele has been building genuine relationships and letting our work speak for itself. As a mobile coffee business, visibility and trust are everything, so we’ve focused heavily on showing up consistently at events, public locations, and community spaces where people can experience our quality firsthand.
Word-of-mouth has been incredibly powerful for us. When people enjoy the drinks and the experience, they naturally recommend us to friends, workplaces, and event planners. Many of our bookings have come directly from guests who tried us at a wedding, school event, or corporate function and then reached out for their own events.
Social media has also played a major role, especially Instagram. We use it to showcase our menu, behind-the-scenes prep, in-house syrups, event setups, and the personality behind the brand. It helps potential clients visualize what we offer and builds trust before they even contact us.
Another key factor has been partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Collaborating with other small businesses, sourcing locally, and participating in community events has helped us tap into new audiences while strengthening our roots in Savannah.
Ultimately, our growth comes down to three things: quality, consistency, and connection. We focus on delivering exceptional products and a warm, memorable experience every single time, because one great interaction can turn into many future bookings. We don’t just want customers — we want long-term supporters who feel personally connected to our brand.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Our audience on social media grew organically because we focused first on being real and present with our community, not just chasing follower counts. From day one, we used our Instagram to tell the story behind our business — where we’re set up that week, why we started Revival, and what makes our coffee experience different. We share weekly schedules, event pop‑ups, drink highlights, new offerings like our Revival Coffee Club, and behind‑the‑scenes moments from daily life at the trailer. That kind of content helps followers feel connected to us as people, not just as a brand.
We also spotlight local partnerships and community moments — whether that’s being featured by fellow businesses or tagging collaborators — which broadens our reach and builds goodwill.
Most importantly, our social media isn’t just promotional; it’s conversational. We celebrate small wins, share videos and reels that showcase the vibe at 115 W 42nd St, and post content that’s visually warm, authentic, and community‑centric. That consistent, relationship‑driven approach builds trust and engagement far more effectively than generic ads.
