We recently connected with Aricia Mayorga and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Aricia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
It started pretty organically. I’ve always been drawn to fashion as a form of self-expression, but I noticed that people around me would constantly ask for advice what to wear for events, how to put outfits together, how to feel confident in their clothes. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just giving style tips; I was helping people see themselves differently. That’s when it clicked that personal styling could be more than a passion it could be a career

Aricia , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Aricia Mayorga, and my passion for fashion began at an early age. My
grandmother was a seamstress, and I grew up watching her create dresses, costumes, and patterns
an experience that sparked my deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design.
I enrolled at Miami Dade College, where I studied fashion design. During my time in school, a
friend introduced me to an internship opportunity with dbrie Swim, a swimwear brand she was
working with. I immediately embraced the opportunity. While interning at dbrie Swim, I gained
hands-on experience creating a swimwear collection for Miami Swim Week, as well as learning
pattern making, assisting with photoshoots, and supporting social media efforts.
Following that experience, I worked at House of Llull Atelier, where I assisted the head
designer. It was there that I realized fashion design and styling go hand in hand, which led me to
transition into styling and begin my career as a personal stylist.
In 2017, I received an opportunity to work with Style Doctors, a professional styling company.
Since then, I have been working as a stylist for eight years, specializing in menswear, personal
styling, styling workshops, e-commerce photoshoots, personal shopping, and virtual styling.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding part for me is seeing how someone’s confidence changes when they feel truly comfortable and like themselves in what they’re wearing. It’s not just about clothes it’s about helping people show up as their best, most confident version.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
