We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sherrelle Green/Jordan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sherrelle below.
Sherrelle , appreciate you joining us today. Can you tell us about an important lesson you learned while working at a prior job?
One of the most important lessons I learned on my journey as a business owner came from a corporate America office job, and it was born through discomfort, disappointment, and ultimately, courage. Resigning from that position was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. The treatment I experienced there showed me, firsthand, that a title, a paycheck, or perceived stability is never worth sacrificing your dignity, integrity, or freedom. I learned the hard way that you should never work for someone simply because you know them or assume they are a friend. Professional character reveals itself under pressure, and not everyone leads with respect, fairness, or emotional maturity.
That environment also taught me how damaging toxic workplace dynamics can be, especially when behavior mirrors immaturity instead of professionalism. I witnessed provocation, taunting, embarrassment disguised as humor, and power used carelessly. It felt less like a place of growth and more like high school energy in a business setting. While painful at the time, the experience became my blueprint for what not to do. It sharpened my discernment and made it clear that no amount of money is worth staying in a space that degrades you, pokes fun at you, or attempts to dim your confidence. Losing a job is temporary; losing self-respect can cost you far more.
Ironically, I was already an entrepreneur during that season, but that experience pushed me to fully bet on myself. I took the same drive, discipline, and effort I gave to helping someone else succeed and poured it into my own vision. Today, I run a thriving staffing agency connected to my virtual call center, built on transparency, trust, emotional intelligence, and authenticity. I am intentional about creating a healthy, honest, and supportive atmosphere. Real, not fake. Where people feel valued, respected, and empowered. That job didn’t break me; it refined me. It taught me that true leadership protects people, not power, and that the greatest success is building something that never requires you to abandon who you are.

Sherrelle , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Sherrelle, also known as Coach Mrs. Bluntly Spoken, a personal coach, entrepreneur, mentor, Author and purpose-driven creator. Specializing in Spirituality. I entered my industry through lived experience, not theory, turning real-life lessons into meaningful impact. I am the owner of GIG CALLERS LLC (God Is Good), a staffing agency connected to my virtual call center, built on integrity, professionalism, and people-first leadership. I also mentor youth through #SpeakUp #SpeakOut, creating safe spaces for young voices to be heard, respected, and empowered.
My work spans personal coaching, motivational and spiritual content, community-based experiences like Sh3 R3al Sip & Spill, is a women-centered experiential event I created where healing, creativity, and real conversation meet. I travel to host and speak at these gatherings, intentionally addressing the unspoken topics women often carry in silence, self-worth, emotional healing, boundaries, identity, and growth. While I guide the conversation, guests paint and create unique crafts in a relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere, all while sipping and connecting. It’s not just an event, it’s a safe space for women to release, reflect, be heard, and leave empowered, inspired, and reminded that they are not alone.

I’m also a published Amazon author, having written several eBook guides designed to educate, heal, and elevate others worldwide. What sets me apart is that everything I do is rooted in truth, purpose, and service. I don’t sell hype, I build confidence, clarity, and real change. I’m most proud of creating multiple aligned ventures that uplift others while staying authentic to who I am. I want people to know that my brand stands for dignity, healing, and impact, and that when you engage with my work, you’re supporting growth that gives back and leadership that leads with heart.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my audience on social media has been an organic, evolving journey rooted in honesty, purpose, and courage. I’ll be transparent, I haven’t mastered it yet. With so many moving parts in my life and business, my consistency hasn’t always been 100%. Still, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, especially because in real life I’m actually very reserved and shy, something most people don’t believe. Showing up online required me to push past fear, self-doubt, and comfort zones, and every step forward has been a personal victory.
What helped me grow was choosing authenticity over perfection. I shared real experiences, real lessons, and real truth, and the right people connected with that. I’m excited about every challenge I’ve faced to get here because each one strengthened my confidence and clarity.
My advice for anyone just starting is simple: just start. Don’t wait for the perfect moment, perfect content, or perfect support, because often the calls, cheers, and family backing won’t come at first. Applaud your small wins. Celebrate every post, every view, every step forward. Develop tough skin by mastering emotional intelligence, because opinions will come, but they don’t get to define you. At the end of the day, follow your heart, honor your dreams, and never let other people’s perceptions stop you from becoming who you’re called to be.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What truly helped me build my reputation in my market is the impact I have on people’s lives when I guide and coach them. I don’t show up with fluff or rehearsed answers, I show up with truth, discernment, and lived experience. My honesty spread quickly because people could feel it. It reached a point where clients started booking me like I was about to pull a fortune out of a cookie, not because I predict outcomes, but because I help people see themselves clearly and move with intention.
My presence on social media, whether through a post, video, or even a simple image, consistently speaks on the unspoken. I address what people are thinking but afraid to say, and that relatability builds trust. What grounded all of this is simply being myself and never forgetting where I came from or where I’m going. I remember a time when I needed someone to speak life, clarity, and truth into me, so I chose to become that person for others. Every connection matters to me, and that genuine care, consistency, and purpose is what built my reputation and continues to sustain it.
In addition, I’m proud to be partnered with Parent to Parent of Georgia (P2P of GA), where I support and advocate for families by helping amplify their voices, build confidence, and access encouragement and resources. This partnership reflects the heart of my work, serving, supporting, and standing with people where they are while helping them move forward with strength and purpose.
