We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jayda. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jayda below.
Jayda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me is the opportunities and guidance that they have given to me on my blog journey. I am a teenager that is learning daily while growing and learning how to navigate the social media world.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Jayda and I am a teen blogger that showcases family fun around Northeast Ohio and beyond. I wanted to start my journey when I was around 5 but my mom wanted to make me wait until I was older so I could understand the work and dedication it takes. When I was 6, I lost my nanny to terminal cancer and this is when I really wanted to show families that family memories are more important because tomorrow isn’t promised. As my mom and I explored and went to and posted about free events and hidden gems in the area people said you should let her blog. I already had an Instagram titled Jayda’s Adventures that was used more of like a digital scrapbook, but she didn’t know if she wanted to take on the journey. I obviously pushed the topic and we slowly started to explore. Both my mom and my papa became sick in Oct of 2022. My papa at this time was diagnosed with terminal cancer and at the beginning of 2023 I launched my website and a few months later loss my papa.
Now, I do this blog for them! I show families to get out and explore because memories are more important and last longer than any toy. I show them where to go to have fun, tips and tricks of getting the best deal, plus somethings to not waste their money on. It is a blog for families by a teen who doesn’t sugar coat or give fake reviews.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Over the years I have heard plenty nos or that I won’t be successful with blogging because of how young I am plus bigger “influencer” that use to cheer me on now have unfollowed me as if they want me to give up, but it only has me push harder. Being a daughter of a single teen mom, has shown me that obstacles are just detours and bumps that teaches you a greater lesson and you should never give up.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I want to show families where they can have fun with their family and it being worth ever penny that was spent because I know how impotent each penny can mean for a family. My long term goal is for this to become a side job that helps me earn income to help with other long term goals that I have like paying for college.
