There are so many heartwarming stories we could share. However this one is very personal to us. In 2018, my father passed away from cancer. Our team rallied up and held a fundraiser for us. We were on the other side of things this time. I believe this allows us to connect with the people we help. Although every story is different, we’ve been there. We will never forget this day when everyone came together for my family. Read more>>

In my line of work there are moments of heartbreak, and there are days of complete and utter joy. On those days, I get to watch massive barriers come crashing down.
Each time we kickstart a new program and get see needs met in a different way or get to see a new demographic of those with special needs come out and find joy in what they can do, that’s about as motivating as it gets! Read more>>

There was a very difficult period in my life, orphaned since birth and left alone with my grandfather, who also died when I was still a teenager. My grandfather’s family not only did not support me, but created further problems, ordering me to leave my grandfather’s house and pay all past expenses. I was left without money, without family and without a home, with only my job, but that was not enough to make it to the end of the month. Despondent and without energy, I asked the management to demote me from the position of department head that I had earned by working hard. I still remember today how the director, a certain Fabrizio Pocchiesa, not only refused my demotion, but actually gave me a raise. Read more>>

As a little girl I had big dreams but growing up wasn’t so easy. I moved every 3 years, I was called four eyes, and picked on because I was small. But that didn’t hold me back from going after what I wanted in life and my family supported me every step of the way. I am 20 years old home from college on my summer break to go working with my dad which I love to do. He owns his dental practice after retiring from the Navy and loves taking care of the people who need him the most. Every month he volunteers his skills to those who can’t afford to take care of their own teeth, often it is the last thing on their mind. Helping people is something I always love doing, especially with him. It’s a typical Wednesday, we are off to work in a mobile dental van to a local elementary school. Read more>>

As I look back from where it all started would have taken me back to 1959 when I was just a very small, shy little girl that was put on a greyhound bus all by herself to travel some 1600 miles from New Jersey, all alone with a box of fruit and a sign around her neck with her name, age, destination and who would be picking her up. She was to join her mother in Texas state. Each driver was instructed to watch over me ( my angels) and they took me on each stop to get ice cream and I’m sure restroom break. That part I really have no memory of. When I looked back at this small, shy child and saw the sadness in her eyes at that age, it’s a wonder how she grew up to eventually turn into a strong, intelligent, brave, resilient woman that she is today. I wouldn’t say that there is one specific story that is heartwarming for me. Every private session and group ceremony that I hold always bring chills to my body. In my work, I am holding a very vulnerable space for others to connect to their body, feel their body and release trauma and stagnant energy that they have been holding onto for most of their lives. It is such a beautiful thing to witness how each client walks in, and then seeing them leaving at the end a completely different person. I always tell my clients that the hardest part is getting to the session. You are walking into an unknown territory but by making that commitment not only to yourself but to your life – that is when the magic truly starts to unfold. My clients always tell me the magic starts on the table but noticing the difference in their life afterwards is what blows them away. Read more>>

It took me awhile to sift through the trials and tribulations of a 20+ year career. I have had a focus on women’s health particularly in the area of Fertility treatments, perinatal and postpartum supports for the better part of the last 15 years. For some, the journey to parenthood is not an evenly paved or straightforward pathway. I have laughed and I have cried with perspective parents through all stages of their processes. One particular experience that stands out is supporting a perspective mom through multiple retrievals, waiting for results, waiting and more waiting only to have an unsuccessful outcome. Over the course of 5 years, this was her experience time and time again- until it wasn’t. Alas- all of the heartache, anxiety, fear and waiting would come to its end. She contacted me and the retrieval worked. Read more>>
