Our community is fortunate to have so many brilliant, insightful entrepreneurs and creatives and so many of them have front row, ground level seats that allow them to see emerging trends before the so-called experts, industry leaders, etc. We wanted to create a space to connect members of our community where they could share these insights on trends and opportunities they are seeing.

A trend that I have been seeing lately in the world of photography has been people going back to the basics, like using film and disposable cameras again. That is where this all started for me as a kid! We’re starting to pull back from the super posed, perfectly primped, photos. I love this ‘trend’ because there is something so special about the candids, the photos you even forgot you took and see again once the film is developed. It’s such a different sense of excitement than using big DSLR cameras or cell phones. This is also how I feel like I kinda run my photo business, not curated & a little all over the place, but in the best way haha. Read more>>

Two major trends we are seeing in the world of mental health are the increased willingness of people to embark on a treatment path, and the proliferation of evidence-based treatment options that are focused and highly effective, but that can be confusing as people try to identify the best treatment approach for themselves or their loved ones. Traditionally, the default for people who were open to treatment was to undergo talk therapy, which can be helpful but is often unstructured and leads to mixed results. There are now specialized treatment programs that are specific to individual conditions such as OCD, eating disorders, and …. This increases the need for more guidance for those trying to figure out their best options for care. Read more>>

One of the biggest trends I’m seeing in the aesthetics industry right now is the rise of bio-stimulating treatments—procedures that encourage the body’s natural regenerative processes rather than just providing instant, temporary results. This includes regenerative injectables like PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and collagen-boosting fillers, which enhance skin quality over time. Patients today are much more focused on natural, long-lasting results rather than just chasing a frozen or overfilled look. Read more>>

Overtime we have an decrease in math fluency, reflecting significant learning loss during the pandemic. Even advanced students are struggling with fundamental concepts that make it more difficult to conceptually understand higher level content. Specifically, students struggling with operations like multiplication, or adding/subtracting fractions have a hard time understanding Algebra, and this problem compounds as they progress into geometry and calculus courses. As a paralegal in the Trusts and Estates field of law for over 40 years, I have witnessed first hand monumental changes in the profession over this period of time. The most impactful change being that of the ability to work remotely.
An instrumental contributor to these changes are the technoligical advances that have occurred in this span of time. 40 years ago, paralegals relied heavily on paper – document preparation often occuring on word processors or typewriters. Document review, filings, and research were done manually with tangible tools, requiring significant time spent handling and organizing paper files – with very little of it readily accessible among the entire practice. In addition, contrary to the paralegal courses in education readily available today, the majority of the education I received in my chosen genre was literally learning on the job (I was very fortunate to have had amazing mentor attorneys). As a video creator specializing in social media content, I’ve noticed a strong and ongoing trend toward natural, unfiltered videos. It’s a whole new visual language that brands are actively embracing
When it comes to fashion and beauty, Instagram and TikTok have completely changed the way brands connect with their audience. Now, it’s all about making content feel accessible and real, like something anyone could film on their phone. And that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. Read more>>

In the hunting and fishing industry, the biggest trend that I’ve noticed is the use of electronics in the field. There used to be a saying that you had to have “time on the water” or “time in the woods” to gain the experience needed to become a seasoned outdoorsman. Electronics have shorten that “time on the water” and “time in the woods” to mere cameras and small computers screens. In the past, if you wanted to know what kind or size of animal was moving around on your hunting land, you would have to spend countless hours in the woods watching and waiting to see what moved. Now, all you have to do is purchase a cellular camera, link it to your phone and instantly, pictures of your quarry will appear on your phone while you are sitting in your office at work. If you wanted to locate fish for a bass tournament, it would take you a couple days to find out what part of the lake was holding fish in addition to confirming if they were the size you were after. Thank you for inviting me to share my insight in the marketing industry. Without a doubt, the most exciting trend is the boom of AI. Granted, a lot of people wonder if AI will take over and replace their jobs and that is a valid concern, considering how fast the technology has evolved. Nevertheless, I believe AI will cut down on all the pesky, mind-numbing activities to give us time to focus on more exciting riveting projects. As a marketing automation specialist for Supreme Garage Door, I’ve seen firsthand how AI can supercharge productivity and transform lead conversion systems for the better. I believe young professionals and small enterprises can cease the opportunity to follow the trend and escalate the business to new heights with the push of LLM models and AI experts. Read more>>
